Suitcase doesn’t have what you’d call the best home life. Her dad died when she was ten, and now she lives with her unstable mother. Suitcase’s only comfort is her spot by the lake, where she can peacefully exist alone.
Until he comes.
Knife’s life is a shitstorm. Every other week he leaves home, even though he’s doomed to come back. He wants to escape so badly, but he can’t. He’s only thirteen after all.
After stumbling upon Suitcase’s spot, what started as just sitting next to each other becomes a little more. And more, until they’re both each other’s lifeline in this hurricane.

So she’ll take herself out of his cruel little game. It was his fault she was like this. It was always his fault.
