She shakes her head, distant earthen windchimes drowned out by echoes of the past: a broad fist slamming against a table, dreaded footsteps down the hallway, a bone-shaking bellow of anger that quickens her heartbeat even a hundred years later.

Link is more than happy to teach, and she learns words that they use in their day to day life, but, even with all the colorful phrases he's shown her, there's still one thing she wishes to tell him. Something he never taught her. Something she so desperately wants to tell him.

Summary
In the wake of the Calamity, Zelda feels distinctly out of place. She can't figure out what's wrong with her-- shouldn't she be happier? Shouldn't she feel relief at saving the kingdom and fulfilling her destiny? She has the distinct feeling that she has only traded one burden for another, and must make critical decisions that she is not equipped to handle.
Link wants to earn back Zelda's trust, but can't seem to find the right approach. Does she really see him as the man she knew all those years ago? How can he overcome the strange barrier that seems to have formed between them? He bought the house for them to share, but it feels like she's still far away.
In order to process all that's happened to them, Link and Zelda will have to come together and ask the tough questions. What do they want, and how can they build that future?

Summary
Link wakes up in a strange place. He is drowning in grief. He cannot remember who or what he is mourning, but it hurts all the same. A dark castle looms in the distance. It is drenched in evil, but a golden light breaks through the eye of the storm. Link will do whatever it takes to keep that light from going out.
This will be the final fight between the God of Power and the Man of Courage. No more reincarnations, no more second chances. Link has lived far too many lives and he is ready to end this. The Calamity is determined to break the unbreakable spirit of the Hero once and for all. The legend that is as old as time itself is finally coming to an end.
-This is a darker reimagining of Breath of the Wild. There will be some light moments but this is meant to be a lot heavier than the original game. I adjusted certain aspects for storytelling purposes. If you notice something that does not match up with the game it is intentional.

The Calamity has been defeated. The princess has returned. Hyrule is ready for a new era.
It's an exciting time, as opportunity and creativity abound. So much so that a new publication appears: "The Story Mill." The serial features the adventures of Princess Zelda and Link, the Hero of Hyrule, and the author promises stories full of action, drama, romance, and more!
But when Zelda starts to read this fictionalized version of her post-Calamity life, things between her and Link begin to get awkward.

His body was scarred all around, blood was slowly gushing out of the wound on his stomach, his sword was out of his reach. He heaved his breath as he knelt on the ground. The gigantic Lynel was slowly walking towards him, holding its frightening sword on its hand.
He looked defeated, but the look he gave the monster ahead of him was not a defeated one.
He shouldn’t, no, he can’t die now. Not when he still had an important duty to do. Not when everyone is depending on him to finish a century-old misery. Not when he was given a second chance…
He used all his might to stand on his feet, challenging the Lynel. If Lynels could laugh, this one would laugh right here, right now. It would laugh because of the stupidity it saw on the Hylian in front of it.
He took the fallen sword and gripped it as tight as it can, looking at the Lynel in the eyes. He had the nerve to smirk when the Lynel looked at him angrily.
As the Lynel ran towards him, he stood on his ground, and could only think:
“If only she was here."

Summary
Calamity Ganon has just been sealed, and Zelda is trying to figure Link out. Just how long did it take for him to get to her? Does he really remember her? Did he help the people of Hyrule on his way?
Well, Link was in a hurry. He freed the Divine Beasts, he became as strong as he could, but he hasn't fulfilled many of the side quests. He didn't want to keep Zelda waiting.
Now that she's safe, Link and Zelda will travel the land to assistance the people of Hyrule, and recruiting the help of others to restore Hyrule to its former glory.
The inspiration is I want a simulation game where Link and Zelda fix stuff up... but Nintendo wouldn't make that. So I am :+)
