Summary
The first time Techno saw him his heart sank.
His eyes had widened at seeing the baby that had been so small in the handlers rough hands, the man had practically tossed the baby into his "room"
Techno looked up at his handlers in confusion, "why…" he didn't argue back ever, so he hoped that his handler didn't think he was now.
"You are to train him, champion. We need another champion to even out the betting odds. We can't always rely on the little blade now can we?"
He looks down at the sleeping child, unwrapping some of the cloth to reveal a small hand, he sits on his small cot, feeling all the breath in his lungs escape in a forceful exhale.
He let's the child lay on his lap, one hand reaching under his pillow for the dagger he had stolen when his handler wasn't looking.
It would be mercy.
He raises the knife, and stops. The baby's eyes had opened, one pupil red, one green.
The baby gurgled happily, grabbing his free hand in his own tiny one.
He couldn't do this.
He needed to escape. -

But now that he has reunited with his family and friends after two long years Tommy finds himself having strange dreams, remembering long lost memories, meeting new and strange people and most of all...reuniting with his real father.
Can Tommy survive through his family's drama?

Tommy had always been a bit too clumsy for his own good.
This had been proven when he snuck back into his room. He had somehow tripped and was thrown headfirst towards his wardrobe, which resulted in a noise that was far too loud, and Tommy prayed had not been heard by the other occupant of the house.Just as Tommy thought it was safe enough to start moving, the door to his room slammed open, revealing the one person he was trying to avoid getting caught by, standing in the doorway.

Tommy has heard of the Craft family before thanks to Techno and now that Techno has adopted him that Technically makes him part of the family, well Tommy has his doubts.

Usually, Techno would ignore it. He preferred not to get into mortal arguments, but something told him to check on what was happening.
He walked into the alleyway to see two tall people, clothed head to toe in black, holding a blonde teenager. “What’s going on here?”
They freeze and snap their heads to Techno. “Nothing, just getting back what the brat stole.”
“And what was that?” Techno looks into the blue-eyed teenager, who stares back with a fiery rage.
“Nothing! I didn’t steal anything! They stole my–” the teenager stops as if he doesn’t want to say what they stole.
Techno doesn’t really care who stole what, that happens all the time. He’s more interested in the child who somehow managed to carry enchanted items.
Items that he wasn’t supposed to be able to see.

Techno is a Champion, meant to live until the end of the world with his deity family. Then he comes across a human, mortal child who can somehow see enchanted jewelry that only gods (with the exception of Techno) could see.
Who is this kid and why does Techno find himself wanting to adopt the gremlin?

"I mean," he drawled, taking a slow step forwards, "that when it comes to people like us versus people like them?"
A step forwards.
"They could be murderers. Racists. They could hurt children,"
Another step, mirrored by the boy, who took a step back.
"They could be the worst humans on earth,"
One final step had the two a foot apart, the younger tilting his head up slightly from where he was backed up to look at the man.
Techno smiled bitterly at the boy.
"But, we will always be the monsters to them."
A damning silence.
"You'd do well to remember that."

Tommy lived in a place where people with magic are seen as scum - which probably wasn't great seeing as he had magic - but he was used to it! He just wished it didn't hurt as much when it came from his only family.
Techno was content living by himself. Sure, it got a little lonely sometimes - when he couldn't keep his voices in check, or when the memories he tried so hard to forget kept surfacing, but he's fine.
