Summary
Druig, Thena, and Makkari are joined on the Domo by fellow eternal, Eros, and his companion Pip in their mission to rescue what is left of their family from the wrath of celestial, Arishem the Judge. However, in the absence of Gilgamesh, Thena's bouts of Mahd Wy'ry become increasingly more frequent and difficult for her to control, and in the confines of the Domo with no Ajak to heal them, they must find a way to manage it before the unthinkable happens.
(Takes place one-week after the mid-credit scene with Eros aboard the Domo. Currently written from Druig's perspective, however that may change in subsequent chapters.)

When every fiber of your being is made of the vibration of the cosmos, you get used to having a constant jitter in your skin. When the energy that powers the speed of light and sound spark in your bones, you tend to be permanently restless. Yet Makkari never felt such a hum of the celestial gift buzzing in her like this.
It’s 3 in the morning when the surge within her jerks her awake then seizes her in bed. Druig’s at her side in one of the guest rooms of Ajak’s old South Dakota home. They decided to home base together for at least a year, waiting on the Celestials' judgment about their act of defiance against them for the sake of humanity. It has been 2 months already.
Makkari fears she is the first to get taken out by her creators.

Post-Emergence the ragtag immortal family finds themselves having quite the challenge when the speedster and mind manipulator accidently do the impossible make a new member of the family. This will follow the pregnancy, birth and various stories the Earthly Eternal family will have in raising one of their own in defiance of the Celestials. -
