For the rest of the year, Sirius did not breathe a word to Regulus. In fact, he went out of his way to ignore him; as if his brother was infected with a disease that, if caught, would send him in a body bag back to the Blacks.
Late autumn turned to winter turned to spring. Sirius moved in with James, and got his first tattoo on his ankle, a half deer hoof with a paw print. It also happened to be the year when more than once, animals started to be spotted on the Hogwarts grounds: then magically disappear, Sirius or James walking out from behind a tree with a maniacal laugh.
Regulus watched Sirius, and at first, Sirius knew he was watching. For the first month, it was perturbing. The second, mildly unnerving. The third, he didn’t notice at all. Regulus watched Sirius as though he was a stranger, capturing the vivid life of a wild beast.
OR
Sirius runs away from home. He and Reggie are not on speaking terms. Sirius contemplates why his animagus is a black dog.

A new, powerful cult has sprung up. Few would think to replace a heart with a crest stone. Fewer would be mad enough to actually attempt it. Usually, this would result in a demonic beast. All Byleth got is an arrogant ghost girl named 'Sothis' in their head. Edelgard -- a high elf with a history related to the cultists -- knows someone who might be able to cure them in the city of Baldur's Gate. The longer this goes on though, the less sure Byleth is about letting go of Sothis.
Claude had just escaped a band of drow and made it back to the surface when he was kidnapped and got a crest stone lodged in his chest. On the bright side, he gets to travel with a colorful bunch now. Especially the paladin from Icewind Dale. Dimitri is tight lipped about his past (almost as tight-lipped as Claude), but he's determined to figure out what the paladin is hiding. He's also determined to figure out if Dimitri is gay. Gay for half-elves, maybe. Just to sate his curiosity!
Knowledge of Baldur's Gate not required. Some knowledge of Fire Emblem Three Houses is suggested.
