Trini Gomez opened La Casita, a family style Mexican restaurant in San Diego, six months ago. It has been her dream for a very long time, and she's thrilled that she made it happen. But then she gets a very bad — undeserved! — newspaper review that she is prepared to fight. Unfortunately, the only person who will talk to her at the newspaper is a woman named Kimberly Hart. Trini's not sure what she does at the paper, but she finds Kim...very annoying. Cute, but annoying. And Trini isn't going to let anyone, not even Kim, stop her from getting a second chance to prove herself.
Unfortunately, as she learns, it's not an easy thing to do with Kim.
