..If instead that man was an anomaly, only existing in one world as a twist of fate, and never again. To never exist again in any one of his future turns in return for being a prophet who wanted to be his companion.
Then… (In the first place, wasn’t something meant to be happening now?) Yet he could only stand here distraught. Someone who he’d only met once yet he couldn’t imagine a world without him despite the ones where he had.

Vilhjelmr is usually much nicer than this, Cicero just brings out the worst in him.
Hopefully someday this will find its place as part of the actual longfic I've been TRYING to write for years now (at this point I'm not even sure if this scene is even canon to my own fic lol), but I had this scene pop into my head the other night and I needed to write it before I lost it completely. Just take it for what it is right now, and maybe someday it will become official lore for Solfrid's story, but for now it's just a contextless vignette.
