Why does the Valar sit in peace, unbothered when Beleriand suffers from war? Why does one be titled evil when fate has long been set from the beginning of time? None can change their fate and the part they’re destined to play. So it was said but not many can expect the unexpected when fate works in mysterious ways.

Thorin, singing at this very fireplace on the night they met, but this time Bilbo leaves his bedroom and sits on the floor at Thorin’s feet. Begs Thorin to sing it once more for him when he’s finished.”
Thorin's demise ushers in a depression that Bilbo Baggins didn't know he—or any hobbit—was capable of feeling. He can hardly remember what it means to be Bilbo Baggins, and he certainly no longer believes the silly hobbit fable he shared with the dwarves of Yavanna resurrecting lost lovers. Thorin hadn't, after all.

The kingdom of Numenor has been on the decline, ever since they forsake the ways of the elves. Not to mention the time when Ar-Pharazon ursurped the Queen regent Tar-Miriel from her throne ever since she returned from her voyage without her eyesight and after the passing of her father. It wasn't until Elendir was put into prison and after she succesfully faced the trials of the Sea, that their horrendous reign of terror was put to a screeching halt. Unfortunately, the damage done by them from the influence of Suaron and his treachory the damage was done. Which is when the Valar decide to pay them all a visit, and inform them of the doom that will shortly befall this once great kingdom. At first she thought that her dream many moons ago, of a great wave crashing into the buildings and destroying everything in its path was just a nightmare. However, it was the visit from the Valar which sadly confirmed, the very things she was afraid would be true. In order to ensure the safety of her people, Miriel bravely steps up and makes the ultimate sacrifice by staying behind, an action that absolutely horrifies the son of Amandil.
