Summary
In the ancient text stories told that when God grew angered with the sin of man, he washed it all away in a great flood to cleanse the sin. Mankind then grew arrogant and thought themselves able to challenge and overthrow God and in turn God dyed the sea red with the blood of mankind. A mighty Empire fell when they felt able to command Gods power. But the Voids Wings shall spread.

Summary
Life has been good after the New War, especially for Maroo and her bazaar. The Tenno came back, and the trade market is thriving and she even has a Dax to keep her safe. Yet life couldn't stay static for long. Some space-time anomaly has pulled her bazaar into a new universe and alien threats are abound. Varzia Dax must fight back against the threats that seemed forewarned to their arrival, as they seek some unknown goal to them.
(Part of the Cross Crisis project but has been designed to be read standalone. Nothing else in the series needs to be read to understand this work.)

Varzia has been fighting long enough to know when she's outmatched. Providing others the tools to do what she can't is the least she can do. It's not cowardly to let children fight your battles when they've already proven themselves more than capable, anyway. Plus, she's still recovering - Or, Maroo seems to think that she still needs more time to defrost, and who is she to argue?
