It’s a bit of a problem, with it being half-formed and sucking up theater kids after a production once in a while. Normally, if an insane asshat wanted to open one, they’d have to supply it with a crap-load of sacrifices to power it. But in the modern day, a steady supply of poorly wired electric cables has supplied it with energy for the past 30 years.
In typical immortal fashion, the vampires had known about the problem and could have fixed it years ago, but forgot about it or pushed it to a later date. Now, the current vampire council decided that it is time for a solution after it sucked up the Baron’s dog.
You end up in Castlevania's world during a real shit time.

Guillermo pulled the other earbud out of his ear, eyes snapping back up to Nandor’s when he said “massage”. It was his turn to flounder. “You’re serious?”
“What, do you think I am just making up massage parlors now? If you thought they died out in the nineteen-eighties, you would be very wrong.” Nandor huffed through his nose good naturedly. Guillermo’s thoughts teetered on a seesaw of apprehension and excitement, and there was no camera to turn to to confirm that this was a real conversation they were having. “Why wouldn’t I be serious?”

Nandor reached a blunted claw into his mouth, up to his fang, and back as far as he could push until out popped his inhumanity, and in pushed a familiar feeling of “hey, that was nice.”
