Lan Xichen moves to take his leave, the door to the jingshi already open when Lan Wangji asks, “What should I call him?”

“Hmph,” Dazai’s discontented hum comes, “You know,” like he wants to voice something completely incomprehensible to both he and Sigma, and perhaps the entire human race. Like it is something entirely unbeknownst to him; this concept of wanting. Instead, he gropes Sigma’s crotch and seems satisfied with the little yelp Sigma lets out as his body naturally submits beneath Dazai’s touch
“You–” Sigma begins, like he’s about to chastise him. “Dazai,” It comes out almost like a whimper, “We can’t, not here.”

Wei Wuxian giggles at this much to Lan Wangji's utter vexation, he was about to protest before immediately freezing up at the other's next words.
"𝘘𝘪 𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥," Wei Wuxian's tenor voice deepens as he husks out, "𝘣𝘺 𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯."
Lan Wangji feels his soul leaving his body as he, honest to god, 𝘴𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘴 out at the other's suggestion. "𝘏𝘶𝘩?"

Demonic cultivation causes a severe Qi imbalance.
In their usual fights, Wei Wuxian tries to scare Lan Wangji away by claiming that these aftereffects can only be cured through dual cultivation. No matter how much he wanted to 'help', it's unlikely that the noble Hanguang-jun would allow himself to be debased in such a way. He can't be that stupid, can he?
Unfortunately for Wei Wuxian, he has no idea how much Lan Wangji was a fool for him.

Or: Kunikida takes Dazai's joke about moving in together a little too seriously, and because Dazai is an insatiable little shit, they wind up having sex like three times in this fic. Also, you don't have to squint to see the plot this time!
