“Love,” He said, “is like holding a blade by the edge. You tell yourself you’ll be careful, that if you grip it lightly enough, it won’t cut you. But it always does. Sometimes you don’t even feel it until you see the blood. And still,” he added after a moment, “you don’t let go. Because by the time you realize how deep it’s gone, you’ve already forgotten which hand holds the weapon, and which one bleeds.”

Summary
Derek exhaled tremulously and tried to stay calm. He called several more times, growing steadily more frantic each time, before allowing the truth to settle in:
Stiles’ phone was off.
“No. No, no, no, please, no,” Derek whispered to himself, barely able to see the screen through his tearful eyes.
What had he done? Had he been so blinded by rage that he dismissed Stiles' call for help?- OR -
Fuming over Scott's betrayal, the Alpha is out of his mind with anger. When he receives a call from Stiles in that incredibly inopportune moment, he does not even let the teen speak - just screams at him, blames him for everything, and hangs up.
But then Erica and Boyd show up, frantically insisting that Stiles is out there somewhere, likely hanging onto life by a thread after being tortured for hours...
Will they be able to find Stiles before it's too late?
And just how much of the Stiles they know will be left if they do manage to track him down?- Language:

Summary
Alan Deaton is a man who’s always known what he wanted: power. He understood from a very young age that it’s those with power that make the rules (or break them without consequence). He even knew exactly how to get that power. That hasn’t stopped him from failing in his plans. Each and every time. It’s almost like the harder he tries, the harder he fails… But he will find a way to succeed, he will, and no Stilinskis will get in the way this time!
