Bucky just has to snag one of Stark Industries’ internships for his life to fall in line with that plan. So what if his sleeping schedule is beyond salvageable? So what if he hasn’t had a stable relationship in years?? So what if he goes to the gym at the weirdest hours? He’s focused on making up for his past mistakes. What kind of brother working at Hydra Enterprises, the biggest security company with a contract with the Department of Defense, fails his own sister so bad? He might have not been able to look at her since she was in that hospital bed, but he’s going to change that when he gets that internship and starts working on fixing the mess he created. In his his middle-of-the-night gym runs, Bucky meets Gym Steve, the hot graveyard shift PT, who not only improves Bucky’s posture, but sets him right on track with his plan. A lucky charm, or maybe the worst thing after Bucky’s Muscle Physiology class.

One chaotic gamer streamer, one wholesome woodworker streamer. Bucky never thought much about Steve Rogers, until, in a moment of impulsive chaos, he mentions him on stream. And boom. The internet EXPLODES. Suddenly, Steve is in Bucky’s comments, Steve is in Bucky’s head, and Bucky can’t even get through a stream without his chat teasing him about his not-so-subtle crush.
Steve? He has no idea that Bucky even knows who he is. Until one night, he randomly stumbles into Bucky’s stream, and...whoops...things get a little flirty. Who knew that two streamers could make such a mess of the internet with just a few awkward comments and accidental flirting?
Throw in Sam Wilson making fun of Steve nonstop, Natasha Romanoff breaking into Bucky’s apartment because she knows he’s too nice to change the locks, and a whole lot of accidental chaos... and well, here we are.
Bucky’s trying to ignore his feelings for a guy he’s sure is straight. Steve’s just trying to keep things casual and wholesome. Neither of them are doing a very good job of it.

Things have settled down in Steve's life. The team of Avengers is functioning, he has a lovely house in Brooklyn, and good friends to spend time with. Bucky is safe and free, well enough to get by on his own. In comparison, it should be a small thing that he hasn't wanted to spend any more time with Steve than he's had to over the last couple of years.
Steve should be happy, yet the winter has been wearing him down, and it's only getting worse after the holidays. He knows he's struggling, but doesn't know how to turn it to better. A Friday night in early January offers a surprise, though, in the form of Bucky asking to spend some time together.

Summary
Steve Rogers is a serious Pulitzer journalist with a small case of PTSD after an investigation he did whilst hiding from his divorce, led to the downfall of a US Senator, half the politicians in the free world and a billionaire retailer with a jungle like set of warehouses, all of whom had been plotting to kill a lot of people with the insidious Project Insight.
The group, named HYDRA by the press had been taken out but Steve had needed time away. Coming back to the US, he began a radio show in NYC, interviewing, and most times, annihilating huge names who thought they could get away with things just because they were famous or rich, or both. Steve was ruthless and loved his job...until he's asked by the bosses to do a puff piece on a fallen actor, who had hit some rough times; all because one of boss's kids adored him.
Trouble was, Steve couldn't do puff pieces to save his life, and knowing he has no choice, he begins to dig into the life of one Bucky Barnes, fallen actor with a troubled past, who Steve's never even heard of...
