“Tell me,” Ziggy said, looking over his shoulder into the distance. He turned to find Kurt laughing with some other Sunnyvaler campers. Other footballers and jocks. “How do you feel about putting your proclivity for spiders to good use?”

Summary
The Battle of Starcourt has been won, but its aftershocks are still rippling. Separated from the rest of the Party, Will struggles with feelings of abandonment, while El is trying to find her place with the Byers and come to terms with the loss of her powers - and the closest thing she's ever had to a father. Back in Hawkins, life is slowly returning to normal, or at least as normal as life ever is. The Party are starting to adjust to having two of their members at a distance, though everyone's still missing El and Will, Mike most of all.
But life in Hawkins never stays normal for long. Someone - or something - is following Steve and Robin, and they may not be the only ones under surveillance. A spectre from El's past makes an unexpected - and unwanted - reappearance. And an old enemy may turn out to be much more than meets the eye.
And sometimes, the bad guys are smart, too.
Separated by miles and misunderstandings, with communications failing and their enemies somehow always one step ahead, Hawkins' strange little fellowship find themselves caught between holding on and moving forward. If they want to survive to see another November, they'll have to face the past - and each other.

Self sufficient — that’s what Nat is. Sturdy. Like a cockroach. Everything Jackie’s never been. It scares her — it scares her more than the fact that she’s pretty sure that Natalie wants her too, by now. It scares her because, yeah, Nat wants her, but does she know where she’s going to put her once she’s finished?
Jackie’s can’t live on the shelf. She can’t be another notch in Nat’s bedpost — another ghostly, greying lover in her phonebook that she calls when she’s high or she’s having noble ideas about morals and doing the right thing, or whatever. She’s grown attached to what they have — she’s grown attached to Natalie. She likes it when she hears her low voice over the phone, short and precise. She likes the feeling she gets when she turns the corner for work and sees Nat stood outside, frowning until her dimples pop out as soon as she sees her.
Or: Jackie lives alone in New York. She’s running away but she gets Nat a job at her bar, anyway, because she’d do it for any of them, really — if it came down to it. Even Natalie Scatorccio. At least, that’s what she tells herself.

As their disappearance and eventual recovery coincided with the growth of the modern internet, an online fandom has always existed, whether in the form of newsgroups, blogs, forums, subreddits, or hashtags. Compiling it all would be impossible, and much of it has been lost to time (particularly since the death of Geocities), but several cataloguing attempts have been made. This is one of them.

It's true, Natalie doesn't cry. But Jackie suspects all the substances bubbling in her system combined with the lack of sleep and inevitable nerves for tomorrow have Frankenstein-ed together to create a version of Natalie unafraid of vulnerability and emotions. So Jackie shrugs a little in their hug, squeezes her again, and says, "I won't tell anyone."or, the one in which jackie finds out about shauna and jeff the night before their flight, and a butterfly effect ensues wherein they miss their flight, fights happen, and general chaos erupts amongst the team
