Summary
Kim and Harry try to navigate the ordinary challenges of a relationship and life in the middle of a war. Kim struggles to overcome his baggage and not end up losing everything he holds dear. All the while, the stakes for Le Retour grow larger than anyone expected. This takes place roughly 4-6 weeks after the end of Part 1 in this series: Sunrise, Parabellum. Chapter titles are taken from the lyrics to "Life During Wartime" by The Talking Heads. 30 chapter length is not firm, but this story is expected to be similar in length to the first one.

Of course these weren't dates. Kim was just being efficient, or requesting assistance when needed, or helping Harry reacquaint himself with certain basic aspects of human existence. Dates were purposefully planned affairs that involved things like flowers, a fancy meal, maybe a kiss goodnight—and perhaps most importantly—an understanding from both parties that they were on a date.
Too bad nobody thought to tell Harry that.

Summary
In the Year '53, partners Harry DuBois and Kim Kitsuragi are assigned to what appears to be a routine missing persons case. But when the woman mysteriously reappears in Seol, the two are volunteered by the Moralintern to make an unprecedented trip to the Isola amidst a fraught political climate.
There they must work in tandem with the Seolite police force to bring the missing woman home while the very fabric of both Elysium and their relationship shifts drastically around them.
