She found Tiffany's rings on her hands as she pulled up her gloves, and thought about taking them off, as if those decades could be pulled out like a deer tick; she couldn't say what made her decide to leave them on.
She slung a long coat over her shoulder, matte-black, veiled every asset. She felt like something - as close to herself as she could be now.

Summary
When Zuko and Iroh reunited right before the day of Sozin's Comet, Iroh tried to make his love and forgiveness for his nephew very clear. But after the initial reunion, Zuko seemed to be continuing to try and apologise to Iroh. How could Iroh make Zuko understand that he loved Zuko unconditionally? Or could Zuko be trying to tell him something else?
