Summary
Before Zion, Ghost felt disconnected at the military academy, a place filled with ambition. He came to fight the machines, not expecting his path to lead him to Zion, a place of both salvation and damnation. There, he met Trinity, whose confidence and strength captivated him. While others like Sparks, Tank, and Dozer pursued her openly, Ghost stayed distant, drawn to her mystery but not daring to approach. Despite the subtle connection between them, Ghost knew, through the Oracle's warning, that he was not meant to be with her. Accepting this, he quietly stepped back, observing from the shadows.

Summary
Holding Neo so hard it would undoubtedly bruise, Smith shouted aloud his first words since being alive, and they fell like thunder upon Neo, hoarsely: “I hate you!”
Neo’s eyes were lidded. He felt no surprise whatsoever at these words. It was the driving force behind them. And he knew it to be true— after all, that was their connection, a connection that ran deeper than anything else Neo had ever possessed in his life. They needed each other, they couldn't live without each other. Was not that a connection as profound as hate, and as its sister, love?
OR
Their minds are still awake even after the war. Neo is enlightened; Smith is not.

Unanswered question: What happened to Tank?
We all remember that confusion after seeing Reloaded and realising that Tank was mysteriously dead without knowing how. Many have attempted to answer this question (usually death from sepsis following his burns in M1), but this is my version of how things could have gone. I hope you enjoy!

“I never thought that you would die,” he admits after a long moment, his voice trembling with every word. “I was ready to die, but I wasn’t ready to watch you…” he cuts off, unable to continue, ashamed of the foolish arrogance he’d possessed, that he could keep her alive through sheer force of will.

Summary
In her early days in Zion it had been the one place that grounded her in ways nothing else could, especially as she struggled with the plugs in her body, often feeling more machine than human. Coming here reminded her that she was still flesh and bone, that there were things in the world apart from humanity’s survival worth fighting for.

Summary
Set between The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded, centered around Neo and Trinity as they adjust to their new relationship, Neo's growing abilities, and a whole lot more. No one said ending a war would be easy, and if Agents don't get the first, the Council of Zion surely will.
