There's a thick code of crimson coating Tyler's hand, strong and metallic in smell so overpowering that he has to hold his breathe through his mouth to keep from gagging at the scent. The bright lights of the room are overbearing sending his vision swirling and sets every nerve on his body to ten. He'd killed the woman, there's blood pooling from her throat forming a small halo of red around her body clotting in her hair, he wants to rush to her, hold the wound in hopes that enough pressure could undo what his knife had done. No, he wishes the blood on his hands were his own because at least then he'd have a way out of this hell hole, out of this enlistment. he feels his breathing studder as the man he'd come to know as commander benny glances over him, and he forces himself to breathe through his nose, he can't move. he knows he'd been called to attention.
"You did good Tyler" Benny's gravelly voice breaks through, and the elite agency standard he'd done everything right, logically, ruthlessly.

Summary
Roy had thought saving Jason from Bruce would have been the worst of it, sure he’d expected him to be a bit more moody, maybe even hostile. But this, was something not even he could have predicted. He doesn't know exactly what happened during the fight to have crushed Jason like this, but something was wrong, because in all Roy’s years of knowing the second boy wonder and the deadly red hood, he was never quiet. Taunting had always seemed to be his first coping mechanism, and if that didn't work then it was words that cut clean through your psych and managed to sit under your bones for weeks afterward. But as he glances at Jason who still lies in bed, messy black and white curls splayed across his face and eyes green and vacant. He can't help but wonder what Bruce had done, that finally tipped Jason over the edge.

OR: Demigod Katsuki fell in love with Mortal Izuku and got married, but their union played with the gods' nerves, and Izuku was forced to turn into a statue against his will. Katsuki decided to face the deities in order to regain the potion that could bring his husband back to life. This story is mainly Katsuki Bakugo-centric, but I promise it’s worth the read.

A week after Izuku stops talking to Katsuki over a fight about self-preservation, Jirou calls with a mission for him - a mission that Katsuki ends up taking instead.
What no one expected was for Katsuki to make the sacrifice play for a civilian, like he criticized Izuku for doing. Or for him to get stuck inside an air pocket that is quickly filling up with water.
Or for Izuku, the only one who can break him free, to be on the opposide side of the city, miles away from the drowning Katsuki.

"Flash’s brain short circuits. Because standing in front of him, dressed in nothing but a pair of red and blue running shorts, is Peter Parker. He’s all lean lines and hard edges. Broad shoulders and long legs. Heat crawls up Flash’s neck, blooming across his face as his eyes trail down Peter’s form, starting at the hollow of his throat and working its way down to where the waistband of the shorts meet warm, olive toned skin.
“Oh, hey Flash,” Peter says through a yawn.
Flash’s eyes snap back up, a mix of guilt and embarrassment burning in the pit of his stomach. But Peter doesn’t notice Flash’s not so subtle staring, the man in question blinking owlishly, rubbing sleep out of his eyes. He just stares at Peter’s arm as he does, each small movement causing his bicep to flex and relax.
Oh god, he’s so fucked."
Or
5 times Flash probably should have realized the Peter is Spider-Man (but was too blinded by his crush to put the pieces together) + the one time he actually finds out.
