Summary

In another life, Harry manages to keep his identity secret until shit hits the fan. In this one, Voldemort finds out who his soulmate is much sooner.

Summary
Boy-Who-Lived Dead!
What a headline.
You die, and they don’t even bother to include your name in the title of your very last front-page feature.
Kind of catchy though, you have to admit.
Fate has not forgotten Harry Potter. Neither has Death.
Voldemort is something of an annoying gnat in comparison to what Harry’s life—and death—have become. He never asked to be the Master of Death, but no one has ever seemed to care about what he wanted.
Cursed with this fate, Harry slowly begins to realise that the afterlife is far beyond anything he ever imagined. It might even become something he could call home. But more importantly, it offers him something he never thought possible: a second chance.
Now, all he needs to figure out is whether that chance lies in the past, or the future.

There are seven novel-length fics, plus a prologue (to leap and love the fall) and two longer stories (with courage unyielding and the gentle sunlight). The short story collection to journey on contains shorter stories set within the main timeline. All are posted in the correct reading order.

I am feeling much better now and have started working on my fic again. Summary
Harry Potter makes a deal with Death to resurrect Tom Riddle and get his annoying corrupted soul out of the afterlife. Harry only naturally does this because he wants to get a nice cushy afterlife that is denied to him because of the little soul shard lodged into the middle of his forehead.
Screw anyone's plan for his life, Harry is going to live for himself and find his own happy ending. IF that involves living alone with cats, and Death so be it. Of course, building a body, resurrecting Tom, and avoiding people that have plans for his fate and future goes sideways up the River Styx without a paddle. And of course, his worst roommate possible is adding water to the boat rather than bailing it out because he caught something called feelings and Harry might have fallen for him too.
There are other characters that get trapped on the journey of love and redemption. Most of them are cats, but who wouldn't love a hairless cat, his wonderful wife, and their raisin offspring. Certainly not Harry.

He shuffled the parchments further, giving himself room for the books when he noticed oddly familiar writing on one of them, titled “Research Draft”. Hoping it would be something useful, he slid it out from the pile and started reading.
“Parselmouths exhibit physical and behavioral traits that are found only within snakes, but adapted unto human form. It is unclear how these traits were bestowed upon early parselmouths, but the possibility of long-past cross breeding between magical beings, radical human transformation, or a gift from Mother Magic herself have all been considered by the author. However, this essay will act as a personal ethnography of the primary researcher, one Tom Riddle”
Harry blinked, shaking his head a little. Were these Voldemort’s notes about himself? Thinking about it, it somehow made sense that Voldemort had been making notes on himself, considering how self aggrandizing his monologues seemed to be.
