“Please don’t tell me that Soil is over. Please.” The words were quick, rushed, as if there were limited time. Fuck, Daron was begging so harshly, so pathetically, it felt like his vocal chords were closing up and gritting together, pulling onto itself like drying concrete, filling his body and weighing him down.
“Daron--"
“God, please, Serj, I’m sorry." His skin was hot; irritatingly so. It made his clothes stick and itch. He felt flushes of chill air around his upper lip, back, calves, and head, sweat forming on his neck. The breathing felt increasingly muffled, like there was a plastic bag over his face. Like He was slowly suffocating. He surely felt like it.
"--You didn't do anything wrong, Daron."
And he could only feel his heart breaking more.
