Summary
“Rock and roll? Really, Crowley? No, I’m afraid I know Mr. Epstein far better than you do. We have quite similar tastes, you see, he’s a great appreciator of the classics. Brahms, Bach. He may sell pop records in his shop, but I can’t possibly see how a group like this could play a role in improving his life.”
“Aziraphale, trust me on this.”
The angel looked wildly unconvinced. Crowley sighed. He was going to have to bring out the big guns.
“You owe me one,” Crowley said. “Hamlet, remember?”
Aziraphale gave an outraged wiggle. “This isn’t Shakespeare, my dear, this is— this is— rebellion!”
“Not rebellion,” said Crowley. “Revolution.”
(This is a story about Aziraphale and Brian Epstein. Did you know they were friends?)

Summary
In 1969, after he gives Crowley the holy water, Aziraphale comes to visit.
Crowley lowers the bottle, catches him looking, and something strange and undefinable passes over his face, something Aziraphale thinks he recognizes. “Come on, then,” Crowley says, and his voice is low as he lopes over towards the low bed. “Nowhere else to sit, ‘less you want to try that thing,” and he points at something in the corner Aziraphale’s eyes had refused to acknowledge before. Aziraphale stares in abject horror. “That’s meant to be a chair?” He says, and he can feel, rather than see, Crowley grin. Besides, Crowley’s got the bottle, anyway, so Aziraphale follows him to the bed.

Summary
After the Second Coming’s come and gone, Crowley moves to the South Downs. Aziraphale stays in London. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t come to visit.
Or, Aziraphale’s his own angel, now. He just has to learn what that means.
When Crowley wakes up again, two weeks later, Aziraphale knows. He can feel it tugging at the edges of his essence. No, it’s going straight through him, like oil dropped in water. On the human level, he can feel it in his chest, a tight, hot thing. He stops in the middle of rearranging the cooking books, holding Cabbage the Athenian Way in one hand. Once he determines Crowley’s not going back to sleep, he reshelves the book, walks back to his desk, and sits himself down. He waits until a decorous amount of time passes, and then he calls Crowley.
Crowley picks up on the second ring. Strange; he’s never had to wait that long before.Bookmarked by Assorted_chaos

Summary
“I’d love to meet with you,” Davey said, apologetically, when he had been called up by a fellow looking to initiate therapy, “but I’m all booked up for months.”
“Are you sure?” The fellow said, through a poor connection that crackled.
Davey had been sure. And yet. Right there in his calendar was a blank spot, just a few days away, which he had somehow completely overlooked before. “How about that…I’ve got Wednesday at eleven, if you can make that work.”
“What a miracle,” the fellow said, “that would be just the perfect time.”

Summary
”I-” Aziraphale seems aware of his words, stuttering before choosing them carefully. “I’m terribly sorry, I was – I was going to ask, you see, but not now. Must have spoken my thoughts out loud, terrible habit of mine.”
A nervous habit, Crowley almost adds.
“I was trying to plan for it,” Aziraphale explains, wringing his hands. “The question. I know it must be uncomfortable –“
“You are talking about the sulfur pit,” Crowley concludes, narrowing his eyes. After Armageddon failed, it’s become a new habit of his. To leave the glasses off once in the bookshop with Aziraphale. The angel had said he liked his eyes, and Crowley had caved in. He points a finger at Aziraphale’s chest, shaking it. “You are talking about Hell – No. You are talking about Falling.”

Summary
When Maggie opens a Yelp-page for Aziraphale's bookshop, nobody is prepared for a bunch of conspiracy theorists to find it. Unfortunately they do, and now they're trying to prove that the shop's owner must be a vampire, a hypnotist, or even something as outlandish as an angel. It probably doesn't help that Crowley keeps encouraging them...
But despite that, even the sane parts of the internet seem to be having a blast following the bookshop's history through war, fire, romance, temporary abandonment, and a tooth-rottingly sweet happy ending – all through the lens of a couple of Yelp reviews.

“But you admit it! You did tempt me!”
“I offered you warm food during a storm,” Crowley argues. “If you call that temptation, I’d hate to see you talk to an innkeeper.” Aziraphale scowls some more. Crowley shrugs. “Besides, no harm done. You seem to be enjoying yourself.”
He has Aziraphale there. “Still,” he says, spreading his hands wide. “It has to be said—” He glances up to the sky. “—for anyone listening, that I am not at fault for my appetite.”
“Never said you were,” Crowley says. “Just said you liked the oysters.”

Summary
He knows why Crowley — who had not so much as picked up a book since the invention of the printing press — had done all that, and done it to save the fragile, insignificant human items that Aziraphale reveried with such vital importance, without even having to be asked. He knows, with a feeling of exhilaration like a live wire throughout his body, why Crowley had always saved him, had always thought of him, and had always treated him with such kindness, the likes of which Aziraphale had never received from anyone else, and never would, or had thought to extend even to himself.
Season three opens on London, 1941, and the end of a long night.

Summary
As Crowley watches (and he slinks further back in the shadows, just in case), Aziraphale runs his hands over his bare arms, his shoulders, his chest, humming a little song to himself, one of the love songs the women sing when they’re washing clothes in the river. From here, Crowley swears he can smell the bath oils, stronger than the scent of the garden, down on the ground, surrounding him. The flowers, formerly so lovely, are suddenly cloying against what’s coming from the terrace: the faint musk of sandalwood, and below that, the smell of the angel, bared and exposed, no longer constrained by robes, by layers of clothing. It’s a snake thing. Aziraphale rises on his knees to reach his back, twisting slightly, and Satan.
Aziraphale takes a bath in Babylon. Crowley watches.

Summary
Crowley – he doesn’t make a single sound. Almost doesn’t breathe at all. Is this what humans feel like in churches, when they drop their eyes to the ground and respect the silence by speaking in murmurs? He reverently presses his lips to the delicate skin in the crook of the angel’s elbow, and it feels like a prayer.
He chances a glance up, sees nothing but the taut lines of Aziraphale’s bare neck as the angel keeps his face turned away from him. Not disgust, then – permission. Permission to touch, as long as Aziraphale doesn’t have to bear witness to it.🔶
Crowley notices a little quirk Aziraphale has - sometimes, the angel will keep his eyes closed and refuse to acknowledge what's happening around him.
At times, he does it when there's something he doesn't want to see.
Other times, when he's indulging in something he's not supposed to.- Language:

As soon as Aubrey Thyme, psychotherapist, had opened her office door and seen her new client, Anthony J. Crowley, sitting in her waiting area, she was observing and assessing him. At first glance, she paid attention to the following:
--His clothing was expensive and stylish;
--He wore very strange but noticeable cologne;
--His relationship to the seat he occupied could only, very loosely, be described as “sitting;”
--He looked angry;
--He was wearing sunglasses.What Aubrey Thyme, a professional, thought, upon first seeing her new client was: you’re going to be a fun one, aren’t you?

Summary
During a fight with Aziraphale, Crowley pauses time and goes back to the Bentley to sleep it off (and come up with a really great comeback). When he wakes up the next morning, it’s still Wednesday. Again. Somehow, he’s gotten them stuck in a time loop. It’s Wednesday, every day. Great. Just great.
(Aziraphale puts his book down and takes a big breath and Crowley comes to attention. “Do you ever think,” he says, and Crowley can tell he’s been thinking about this for a long time, for a whole Wednesday, at least. “Do you ever think that perhaps this is an opportunity to - to do whatever it is you wanted?”)
Set between seasons 1 and 2, canon-compliant with season 2.
