Summary
Four years after Aziraphale became Supreme Archangel, he returns to Earth for good. The end of the world has been averted, and if humanity knew, they’d be kissing the ground Aziraphale walked on for preventing it.
But how exactly he stopped the Rapture, Aziraphale does not remember. Whatever they did to him up there leaves a coldness in his soul where memory should be. What he does remember is Crowley four years ago, leaving him in the bookshop, leaving him to face Heaven alone.
Now that he’s saved the world and returned, Aziraphale finds Crowley right where the Demon left him. And he is not as quick to forgive as he used to be.

CROWLEY: I try not to make a habit of gratitude, but I must give our appreciation to everyone out there who’s been listening and subscribing to The Ineffable Plan.
AZIRAPHALE: Ooh, yes, we’ve become quite popular, haven’t we?
CROWLEY: Yeah, just hit number eight on the advice charts … No advertising at all.
AZIRAPHALE: Mm. How … miraculous.
CROWLEY: … Aziraphale. You did not.***
Crowley and Aziraphale are very possibly the people least qualified, on the entire planet, to start up an advice podcast.
But what else is there to do when the world isn’t ending anytime soon, you’re technically on indefinite sabbatical from your lifelong careers, and you need a plausible excuse to spend more time with your best friend who you’re definitely not, absolutely not, maybe just a little, actually maybe overwhelmingly in love with?

“I read the books about you,” Muriel said matter-of-factly.
Crowley wasn’t following. “The books about me?”
“The letter books to Aziraphale’s friend Diary? You must know them. They must be an angel, but I don’t think I’ve ever met them before.”
Crowley coughed heavily. “You’ve read Aziraphale’s diary?”

Summary
The part Crowley couldn’t bear, the very worst part, was that it was all his fault.
And not in that stupid self-flagellating ‘oh wah this random series of events is all my fault’ way. In the very literal ‘I made a horrible mistake and now someone I care about is suffering because of what I very directly and specifically did’ way.
But to see it, to understand how badly he had fucked up, you had to start at the beginning.
Fill for the prompt: 'hedonists with no foresight decide to torture an angel for funsies'-- but in their case, their comeuppance isn't blind justice enacted by the universe, but very, very particular justice enacted by Crowley, who's come to get his angel back

Summary
After Nope-mageddon, Aziraphale feels more confident and relaxed. He no longer feels like he needs to keep Crowley at arm's length for their own protection. He can finally tell Crowley that he cares about him more than "friendship" can describe.
But he doesn't want there to be any chance for miscommunication. But directly talking about feelings in the past with the demon tended to be uncomfortable, so he would need to be a little subtler than that. Of course, human flirting wouldn't work. They already enjoyed traditional human dating activities together, but only as friends. Aziraphale needed something that Crowley couldn't possibly misunderstand.
Well, perhaps he could research what counted as demonic methods of courting someone. That should be familiar enough for Crowley that he would understand Aziraphale's intentions. What could possibly go wrong?

There is a trick people do with a mint candy and a bottle of cola which results in a small eruption, and something very like it, for much higher stakes than a laugh in a car park, is about to take place in Aziraphale’s back room.
Or: what happens when you finally unscrew the cap on a six thousand years of repression, and drop in Valentine’s Day.

Summary
Aziraphale couldn’t help but be enamored by how this ageless creature, who had handcrafted stars and stopped time to save the world, could get so engrossed in a playing-card-sized game. He took advantage of Crowley’s single-minded focus by continuing to watch him, and letting his own mind indulge and reminisce as it pleased.
Eventually, one fervent thought became too much, and all but begged to be spoken aloud.

Summary
“Dearest,” Aziraphale said, making eye contact with effort. Crowley’s eyes were wide, his snakish pupils blown. “Crowley, I love you too,” Aziraphale said with a wavering smile, squeezing Crowley’s fingers. “Very much.”
Crowley’s mouth dropped open and he blushed up to his ears, flustered enough to yank his hands out of Aziraphale’s grip. “Slkhjkghfgfg, hhha, what?”
“I watched the video you sent me,” Aziraphale explained, already fishing his telephone out of his pocket. “The love song? Crowley, I don’t know how you found it, but it’s lovely! The lyrics fit our relationship so well.” He beamed.
In response, Crowley’s eyes popped. “Love… ssssong?” he repeated slowly, something almost like horror growing on his face. “Aziraphale, which video did you watch from me?”
[Crowley's prank doesn't go as he expected, in the best way possible]

Summary
Philosophers liked to pose the question, observation against perception: If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Aziraphale would argue that sound was something witnessed, and Crowley would argue that if sound had to be witnessed, then why was virtue unwitnessed a nobler thing?
But first, Crowley would point out that he himself had fallen, alone and without witness, and it had bloody fucking hurt.
---------------
Or, in the aftermath of the Antichrist debacle, Heaven has other plans than Hellfire, and Aziraphale gives away his halo.
(In which Season 2 is part of a time loop, London's Angel Station is highly questionable, and Aziraphale takes Crowley's memories. Written for the Ineffable Idiots Big Bang.)

Summary
Nearly simultaneously, two thoughts had immediately crossed Aziraphale’s mind the moment their lips had touched.
First: This is mad. This is impossible. Or: this is only possible because Crowley believes that loathsome demon Ferngully (?) to have the photograph. A task he’d very nearly succeeded at, if not for Aziraphale. A task that Aziraphale had been excited to reveal, and now, in a tragic turn of events, it’s the very thing he needs to keep hidden if he wants to continue kissing Crowley.
Which leads him to his second realization: Crowley cannot, under any circumstances, discover the photograph.

Summary
In good weather, one can see the lighthouse at the Rock from the shore: a dot on the horizon, a distant star flashing red and white and red again.
It’s been dark for a fortnight, of course—ever since the incident that every newspaper had breathlessly written about, that the paper-boys on the corners had shouted themselves hoarse over.
This is where Aziraphale is headed: it is his duty, after all, to find out what happened, to make sure that the beacon can be safely lit once again.
He does not expect Crowley to follow him to the windswept isle, to the lonely lighthouse at what could just as well be the edge of the world.
Crowley follows him anyway.

Summary
Crowley spends a few millennia trying to work out what Aziraphale’s changing eye colors mean, if anything. Featuring some historical through-the-ages A&C.
(Okay, so the river of blood is gross. The frogs are, Crowley thinks, pretty funny. Or did think, until he’d been trying to pour out some wine, and the jug had been clogged up with something, so he’d smacked the bottom of it, hard, and a frog had thunked out right into his wine, splashing it everywhere. “Urgh,” Crowley says, and goes to find Aziraphale. “Look,” Crowley says, “How much longer’s this going to go on for, anyway?”
“Only just getting started, I’m afraid,” Aziraphale says.)Bookmarked by Assorted_chaos

Summary
Apparently, Crowley has been in love with Aziraphale for the past six thousand years, give or take. This is fine. He’s determined to be normal about this whole thing, and to not clue the angel in question in on his rather inconvenient feelings. Things have been good for them since the apocalypse-that-wasn’t— the last thing he wants to do is screw that up.
And then the Bentley takes matters into her own hands. Or speakers, as it were.
That’s right. Crowley can’t drive anywhere with Aziraphale without Somebody to Love playing. God, Satan— somebody, anybody, please send help.

Summary
It’s just to ensure Crowley’s doing it correctly, Aziraphale tells himself at first. To make sure he’s getting the miracles right. But when Aziraphale hides and watches Crowley perform his first miracle since his fall, Aziraphale finds instead that Crowley--oh, he was made for this. The love that brims from him when he is allowed at last to heal, to help, to save. A demon shouldn’t love performing Heaven’s work like this, should he? What else, then, is a lie? (Don’t ask questions.) Aziraphale can’t stop watching, through the centuries. Presently, Crowley catches him, and many, many truths come to light.
