Summary

Ten years after they had met, ten years of conflicting feelings, the two of them end up torn by old ghosts, torments and the struggle of being a young teenager in love and in denial.
Anya and Damian's hearts war against their consciences, but that fight might be the only way for them to find peace.

Espresso and Madeleine lived under the thumb of a Republic swallowed by the swelling conflict of a civil war. Soon arriving in the Vanilla Kingdom, Espresso is plagued by dreams and visions that disturb his sleep. Dreams of Ancients, dreams of people he's never met. He and his companion wander into the wilds of the Vanilla Kingdom, trying to put distance between themselves and the society that has turned on them.
Something is stirring. Something great and terrible, a growing dark shadow over the world. What secrets does the Vanilla Kingdom hold? What is the meaning of Espresso's dreams? Will they ever be safe, or will the past haunt them until their dying days?
