Started over on Tumblr, moved over here for coherency. The theory is that, much like the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella II, the Great 7 were petrified into their statues a thousand years ago but have been aware during all that time. Yuu does possess magic but not Wonderland Magic, but it is the Old World type that can break the petrification. This is how she breaks the 7 free, what they've learned after all this time to reflect on their stories and mistakes, and how they come to affect the children that are so much like them.

Of course, she has been scarred in more ways than one, and Crowley has yet to give her any information about finding a way home, but that's alright. She is not a native, she is not a boy, and above all else, she has no magic, so it is her job to take the broken pieces of the school and put them back together as her way of earning her keep, even if it cuts her apart instead. Yuu doesn't mind this, because these dysfunctional mages are now her friends, and she would do anything for them.
But somewhere deep inside her, kept hidden from every single person she knows, there is a thing in Yuu that hungers for something. She does not know what it is or what it searches for, but she does know that it is growing stronger with every dream and nightmare she has.
