Summary
Once they had finished off the last of the creepers, they looked up and saw that Techno was hoisting the few remaining people out of the levee, followed by himself. Ranboo nodded and reached for a pearl just as they heard a large boom from behind them, the shockwave causing them to be launch forward. Apparently, they missed a creeper, but what caused their blood to run cold was the rumbling that came after it.
They didn’t even have time to stand before the dam broke with rawr of water and debris.
Aka: Ranboo gets caught in a flash flood while in patrol.

Summary
I noticed that the Life Series had a lot of similarities to the Hunger Games and was like “what if I made it even MORE like the Hunger Games?” And then this was born cold and alone.
Let me know if yall would want me to do something with this, cause I can tweak the world building some more and make this have a story line.

Grian was… Odd.
Not really odd as he was introverted with most of the other Hermits (aside of Mumbo of course). The server understood his hesitance in interacting, most of them were wary of him themselves. He was a Watcher after all, who wouldn’t be at least slightly nervous? But it had been weeks since anyone besides Mumbo had seen him and the others were a little worried. So, they decided to be a bit more welcoming…
aka: Four times the other Hermits attempted to coax Grian into a friendly interaction longer than a moment and one time they succeeded.

“What’d you think’s out there?” Scar whispered, his eyes closed in on the outside world. Grian looked up from the stick he had been picking at, confusion clouding his face. “Out where?” He asked, his head tilted slightly to the side. “Out there. Y’know? Outside of this border?” Scar prompted, motioning to the blue barrier with a wave. Grian thought a moment.
“Not sure…” He drawled, trailing his gaze up to the border. Scar hummed and nodded moving a little closer to the avian.

Summary
What started out as a joke quickly turned into something more devastating.
None of the Hermits were excited for this exchange program, in honesty it sounded stupid to force them out of their well comforted school and home. Scar's friends weren't exactly happy he was the one picked for their social experiment either.
It ended up leading to a rabbit hole of a missing person's case, a teacher's suspicious death, ghosts, and a boy who adamantly refuses to where his uniform.
Scar didn't expect to uncover a cold case when he changed schools.
Or: A combination of the YHS lore where the hermits are able to intervene and help Grian.
