Cal startles, looks up from the terrarium where his newly planted Bogano seeds take root. “Sorry,” he says, a distinct red tinge flushing across his cheeks. What a weird species Humans are, showing their feelings through their skin tone. “I’m not used to having nothing to do.”
Greez finds Cal something to do, and learns a thing or two about Jedi in the process.

It's been about three months after his probationary period, five months since the Phantom Thieves got everyone back to their correct reality, and all Ren Amamiya wants to do is escape the constant stares and negative comments from Inaba and go back to Tokyo for summer vacation. The second he does, Ren and his friends get sucked into yet another adventure where he and his fellow Phantom Thieves have to save the world yet again... On top of dealing with teen drama, helping an AI learn about humanity, and helping a distant father connect with his child all in the span of one month... No pressure though, right? Ren has to figure out how to balance all that on top of sorting through the ghosts of his past. Nobody said that the lives of the Phantom Thieves would be smooth sailing after saving the world twice, after all...
Basically, Persona 5 Strikers if protag could talk more, the story connected to Royal, Sophia and Zenkichi got confidants, AND if all of the Core 8 Phantom Thieves got equal character development.

The last time she had been sick, she had curled up in a corner of the ruin she had taken as her home on Dathomir, hoping and praying that the Nightbrothers wouldn't find her like this. They listened to her, respected her as they should, but she knew if they had found her in such a vulnerable position, they would have shown no mercy. Perhaps that wouldn't have been the case had her sisters been alive, but with them gone she knew she was at risk.
She had survived and recovered, but it wasn't an experience she was eager to repeat. And yet, here she was. On a small ship now in hyperspace, stuck in close quarters with three other beings.

On second thought, the tone doesn’t match that to those who are fighting. If anything, it seems more worried. Zenkichi’s voice is shaky, like he’s scared. Akira hasn’t spent as much time with the cop as much as he had the rest of his group, but he still knows how to read any of his Thieves.
And right now Zenkichi sounds stressed, not angry or mad… concerned. As if something is happening to Akane.
And Akane, he hasn’t gotten time to read her, but he’s seen her inner thoughts and feelings, so he’s sure he’s qualified to give it a shot.
She sounds surprised, worried as well.
This isn’t a fight. Something’s going on.

Still recovering from the events of Jabiim and Jedha, the Mantis crew is the only available option to be sent to rescue him. Cal Kestis is excited to reach the Jedi Master before the Empire has a chance, but when Obi-Wan learns Vader is coming, he refuses to leave without making a stop to pick up someone else.
