There's a reason why Tony Stark is hidden in his labs, and it isn't because there's a former brainwashed, ex-assassin upstairs, though he's okay with everyone thinking that. He's okay with everyone thinking that he hates James Barnes, though that's furthest thing from the truth. It isn't because he's a teenager girl, whose in love with both Barnes and Rogers. Because he isn't!! He's a grown ass man, and he can control himself. He knows he can.
It won’t work anyhow. He doesn’t want to be a second choice. Can’t be, and he doesn’t want to be second—well, that’s given in any field as he’s a Stark, but he doesn’t want that in a relationship. He doesn’t want someone to ‘settle’ for him. He wants to be the one and only, and he can’t be that with Rogers or Barnes. They will always pick the other, and Tony isn’t a fool. He isn’t going to lie to himself and say it’s any different.
Or So he thinks.

Belladonna Took was never one to lead a quiet and meek life, so when Gandalf and a company of dwarves came to her with adventure on their lips, she didn't hesitate to help them retake their mountain. New York has changed but, simultaneously, it’s still the same in all the ways that count; everyone’s always in a hurry, bustling about hectically, smells from all kinds of foreign places waft around the food carts decorating the streets, the subways are packed and people are laughing, talking and yelling in every language imaginable.
What’s different is Steve, or more the somewhat shocking discovery that he has gone and gotten himself a kid.
Anthony Edward Stark.
Tony’s Howard’s son, but Bucky wouldn’t have guessed if he hadn’t known, what with the way Steve is with Tony, treats him, acts around him. Steve has adopted himself a stray and it’s so typical, Bucky can’t do anything but watch and grin to himself as Steve lifts Tony right off his feet and into a bone-crushing hug, bags dropped at his sides and completely forgotten.

Summary
For someone he'd hero-worshipped for so long, Steve Rogers in the flesh is a pretty big disappointment. For one thing, he keeps looking at Tony as though he reminds him of someone else, and even if he never says anything, Tony's pretty sure it's his father. A lifetime of not measuring up to Howard's expectations is more than enough, thank you very much, and he's certainly not going to make an effort to live up to any of Steve's. Steve's pretty clearly failed to live up to his expectations, in any case, and that's not hypocritical at all.

Bilbo didn’t mean to do this. Well, of course he didn’t. This isn’t his fault.
One moment he was sitting in front of the fire where they were camped in the forest at the edge of The Lonely Mountain, clicking his tongue at Fili and Kili chucking bits of bread at Balin, the next they were under attack.
It all happened so fast, Azog and his Orcs embarking on a brutal slaughter before they had the chance to raise a sword in defence, and Bilbo somehow managed to claw his way through the forest and to the foot of the Lonely Mountain where he comes face-to-face with… Thorin… who Bilbo was certain just had his head chopped off a moment ago.
To make matters worse, he doesn’t seem to recognise him. And Erebor is… well, not a charred and blackened empty tomb inhabited by a dragon.
And yeah, Bilbo’s fairly certain this isn’t going to end well.- Language:

Instead of an instant smiting, Sam and Dean find themselves with a whole new extended family, and everyone wants to meet the newest little angels.
Prompt: "It turns out Dean and/or Sam are children of an angel. When the angels discover that the boys are actually nephilim they don't react the way Dean and Sam expect them to. Angels are extremely protective of their children and by angelic standards Sam and Dean are quite young, so the angels take to treating them like fledglings.
Despite Sam and/or Dean's protests there is lots of cuddling, and coddling, and generally treating them like children. For once the angels aren't trying to kill them, they become fiercely protective (maybe smiting anything that tries to hurt the boys.)

-Written for the Kink Meme- The Full Moon was drawing near, and Bilbo tried to keep his anxiousness at bay. But being surrounded by so many larger wolf-dwarves was rather stressful. Especially with the tales he had heard of what happened to packless wolves during a Full Moon. He shuddered to think what would happen to him.
