Summary
1970 . Dark humoured series of short stories detailing the chaotic, inebriated lives of two out of work thespians and the charismatic blur of ‘civilians’, non-actors, that surround them. Follow Seaswitch, an overdramatic, vitriolic human wreck who could just live forever out of sheer spite and bravado. He hates himself, but he dislikes everyone else more. The only person he may not hate is Tompson, an anxiety ridden daydreamer destined for greatness, unless his flatmate takes it first, or if he isn’t eaten by the thing which may or may not reside under the faulty stove. Tompson’s greatest weakness is that he observes too much and contributes too little, something Seaswitch hopes to distill out of him by means of pub-crawls, avoiding their [possibly-murderous] man-eating landlady, and many, many failed auditions.

Better all around to leave ruminating to the cows and marinating to the steaks—if only Wayne and his brain could agree on the things that aren’t worth thinking about.

Summary
No one has seen Merlin since he fled Camelot, and his death sentence, over six years ago. With Camelot under siege by Morgana's undead forces and Excalibur, his only hope of defeating them, stolen, Arthur embarks on a hopeless mission to find the lost sword. In a sacred forest he stumbles upon a changed Merlin. The two reconcile and Arthur starts to understand that their bond goes deeper than friendship. All the while Merlin is secretly grappling with the revelations of his own immortality and visions of Arthur's imminent death.
