Din pauses, then takes Ben off his shoulder, holding up in front of him. It’s harder than it was when he was a five year old, but not by much. Kid weighs nothing. He stares at him obstinately.
“You can’t talk to your mom and dad about it?” Ben shakes his head. “What about your Uncle Luke?”
“Definitely not Uncle Luke.”
Din narrows his eyes. “Can you talk to anybody about it?”
“I’m talking to you, dummy!”

(Okay, okay- Peter gets it. He did kill him.) Peter is sure that James is going to turn him in, ruin his life the same as Peter had ruined the Marauders.
But this is James. And he doesn't do any of that.
What was Peter expecting, really?
