The grim responsibility of killing Hermione Granger falls to Draco Malfoy, who has grown numb and void of motive or emotion.
Meanwhile, Granger remains stranded in ancient times with only fragments of memory, no wand, and no way home. Her sole companion is a perpetually moody (yet affectionate) ginger cat with a pronounced disdain for blonde men.

Kíli spluttered, turning back to the hobbit with his eyes wide in a clear display of shock and confusion, his entire face bright red. He coughed, trying to get the beer out of his lungs and Bilbo stood to pat his back in an effort to dislodge the liquid.
“What? What’s wrong?” He cried, panic rising. Had he said it wrong? Did it mean something else with the wrong pronunciation?
(I mean, of course "amrâlimê" means "my friend", Thorin told him that, so why would he have questioned it?)

All of the dwarves survive the Battle of the Five Armies and Bilbo comes back to the Lonely Mountain with a recently orphaned Frodo one year later. He and Thorin eventually marry, Bilbo becomes Consort Under the Mountain, and the Kingdom of Erebor slowly returns to its former glory under their leadership. Meanwhile, they've also got three nephews to contend with and a Company of dwarves who can't seem to keep their noses out of everybody else's business. Political intrigue, royal headaches, cabbage patches, and hilarity ensues...

The Battle was over, the orcs were defeated, and he had survived... yet Bilbo just felt numb. He was exhausted, more so perhaps than ever before, but after everything that had happened, after everything he had seen... he knew sleep would not come to him that night. Not that he could even think of trying until he knew the fates of his three wounded friends; Fili, Kili and Thorin.
My take on the events following the Battle of the Five Armies, except Thorin, Fili and Kili survive their wounds on the battlefield and are taken to the healing tents in the Dwarven camp.

There was a flash of golden curls and green eyes in Thorin’s mind, but he quickly pushed it aside.
“It is out of the question,” He insisted as he shook her hand away and finally grabbed his bread.
Dìs rolled her eyes, silently returning back to picking at his meal. Thorin knew this wasn’t the end of this conversation but he was relieved she backed down for the time being. No one spoke for a few minutes, before a loud Crunch! came in the direction of Kili.
“What excellent carrots, aren’t they?”

Thorin walked over to stand behind Bilbo’s shoulder.
“So,” he started, and Bilbo jumped, “Will you tell me what all of this is?” Bilbo turned towards him, blushing again, and Thorin couldn’t help but feel pleased. Adorable hobbit.
“Of course."Thorin picked up one of the foods, eyeing it curiously. It felt...furry. How odd. “What is this?”
“That’s a peach. It’s one of my very favorite fruits. Tasty in pies and jams, and when they’re perfectly ripe, they are quite delicious on their own.”
“I see.” Thorin looked at the fruit again, very much unable to understand the desire for such a food. “But the furry outside...is it not unpleasant?”
Bilbo failed to stifle a giggle as he reached for the peach. “I suppose it’s not to everyone’s liking. My mother actually preferred to peel the skin off before she ate it, but frankly, I feel like that’s entirely too much work. Why don’t we get a few so you can try for yourself?”
Our favorite Dwarven king makes a surprise visit to Bag End. Bilbo's not quite sure what's happening but he’s determined to be a proper Hobbit host anyway.
