“Hey, Georgie,” Dream says softly, coaxing George’s palms away from his face. “Hey, baby—you okay?”
George whines and shakes his head. “‘M too drunk, Dr’m, drank too much.” He’s mumbling the words, slouched and slightly wobbly—a perfect picture of a miserable soul.
Dream wraps an arm around George’s shoulders and holds him close. “Have you drank any water, sweetheart?”
Someone clears their throat and Dream looks up to see Hannah standing in front of them, eyeing George warily and holding out a glass of water. “Here,” she says quietly. “Figured he needed this.”
[Or, George drinks a little too much and Dream is finally there to take care of him.]

George thinks he might be broken. The images and the scenarios that play in his mind are ones which he knows aren’t ‘normal’, but ones that he loves indulging in in the confines of his brain. No one would understand it the way he does, the way that these thoughts portray his love and devotion. It’s embarrassing, and also addictive.
These thoughts are not only fascinating to him, but romantic, and arousing. Every inch of George’s body and mind belongs to Karl, and he’d let him have access to all of it. Karl can have his heart, his blood, his brain. He can have his bites, indentations in his skin, and he can leave his own in return. Karl could snap the bones in George’s fingers and he’d thank him if it meant spending the rest of their lives together.

Summary
“I’m George, and I’m a senior CS major. I’ve been helping out with labs for about a year and a half, so I know this stuff pretty well by now. If you need any help, my email’s on your course website with your professor’s contact information.” He smiles awkwardly and gives a small nod before stepping back against the white board.
Dream studies the lab assistant while his professor explains their syllabus and how the class will be laid out. He can’t help it; his eyes are just drawn to him. There’s something about his energy, his vibe or whatever, that makes Dream feel even worse for insulting him earlier even if he hadn’t said it out loud. Plus, he has an accent. That instantly makes Dream more curious about him. He also seems like an alright guy, kind of weird but in a good way. Dream’s weird too, he’ll admit it. He doubts he’ll interact with George much though.

Summary
George winds up and whips the pitch into Sapnap’s mitt. Strike, right near the edge of the zone. The batter tries to swing at it but he doesn’t manage to get his bat on it at all.
Confidence begins to settle in. He can do this. He’s already thrown a strike, he just needs to throw two more. Then he can handle the next batter.
As Sapnap tosses the ball back to him and he walks back to his place on the mound, he makes eye contact with Dream. He’s smiling at him so wide that he can see his teeth. It almost feels like a comforting pat on the back from halfway across the infield.
George has played for five minor league baseball teams in about as many years so when he finally gets a chance to play in the majors, he intends on making the most of it. That means pitching his best on the mound and training constantly. It also means trying his best to avoid falling for Dream, the hotshot third baseman with a really nice smile. It should be easy, but things don't always go as planned.
