Ban Hammer has not been doing well for the past few months, with a constant string of failures starting to affect him more and more. Sythe always escaping capture and defeating him in phights, Broker escaping Banlands again, and his mountain pile of deaths in phights as of late.
Doubts are menifisitng and turning real. And yet he refuses to see that anything is wrong. Can he be brought back to his senses, or will his fears win and he'll be replaced by a better him.

Summary
While Zanka is concerned with getting stronger, constantly putting himself down to pull himself back up again. Jabber's relationship with the Raiders becomes strained.
By a chance meetup they begin an agreement, they spar, for fun and for training, mutual benefit. They get more casual (and in some ways less), it seems no harm no foul, until Jabber is found by the cleaners in a compromising situation, and Zanka unexpectedly finds himself defending Jabber's case.
This circumstance will either bridge gaps or create even greater rifts. The whole time Jabber just wants to forget about his problems and is instead forced to face them head on.This will mostly be an exploration of Jabber by me projecting onto him and also giving him a backstory. This is written before the doll festival arc so I might come back and rewrite if it becomes crazy non canon compliant but whatever.

Summary
The last thing that Zanka was expecting was to find his rival, that he may be in love with or in other words very complicated situationship, half dead saying he quit The Raiders. The Cleaners definitely weren't expecting Zanka bringing said rival into the base not only asking for help but fighting for the chance for Jabber to join them. However not everyone is on board with this idea the subject of the conversation being one of them especially when he doesn't seem willing to share why he quit The Raiders in the first place.
With Mankira damaged, Zanka trying to get answers to his questions while keeping his obsession over Jabber a secret, emotions are all over the place especially with Jabber trying to figure out why Mankira looks good when Zanka is wearing her.

The loudness of a silhouettes' feet slamming against the pavement was loud in the quietness of the night.
“Hey! Hey, hey.” She repeated when she got closer. Phillip tilted his head, she looked sorta familiar—
“What’s your name?!” She breathed out swiftly. Phillip was caught off guard.
Even more so when the girl took his right hand gently, slowly moving backward, pulling him off the edge of the bridge.
“Uh, [ ].” He hadn’t remembered answering either.
“Do you like ramen?”
Phillip had only just noticed the progress the two made from where she’d taken him off the railing. The small dip off the bridge and into the grass below had Phillip stumble.“What?” He shook his head, eyebrows furrowing.
“Do you like ramen, it’s a—“
“I know, it’s okay? Though I don’t know why—“
“Great!” She quickly jumped in, Phillip could feel her hands shaking. His heartbeat was rapid firing in his chest, his legs shook just like her hands as they made their way further and further from the bridge.

John Grace has been running for as long as they could remember. This was all worth it, for one day they could prove themselves to be worthy, to be clean of their sins.
Expendable has been departing that godforsaken submarine for, not exactly as long as he could remember. This was not worth it in the slightest, but there was nothing to do about it but roam the Hadal Blacksite’s halls day after day after day after day.
Guest has been in that hotel for as long as she could remember. Was this worth anything at all? She didn’t know, but she was beginning to doubt it after every death and loop.
Perhaps it is better this way after all.
