He wanted to apologise, to grovel and Tubbo’s feet and beg for forgiveness, but he knew that that was the last thing he wanted right now.
So he needed to find another way of redeeming himself, at least a bit, and the conversation he overheard happened to be a perfect starting point."

"Cobblestone was a great block, in Tommy's humble opinion. It was nice and it had bumps and grooves but it was still smooth and it fits well with lots of other blocks and it's easy to get, it's the perfect block! Tommy's always sang it's praises, but right now, inventory full of it and mining more, he's getting pretty sick of it.
He's been in this hole, mining stone to get cobblestone, endlessly, for about ten hours now."

I don't like ghostboo so I say neither does Tubbo and Tubbo lets him know :)
here is a lil snippet :
"Tubbo didn’t like Ghostboo very much, he was loud and rude and abrasive and nothing like the man he married.
Ghostboo incessantly complained about how annoying Ranboo was when he was alive, “cried about a book, cried in a box, cried about a book again” it was hell for Tubbo to hear.
He had no idea Ranboo had suffered so much. Tubbo thought that Ranboo was fine.
Well, no, that’s not true, Ranboo was socially inept and did not know how to handle his own emotions. He was scared of everything which made him perhaps the most paranoid person Tubbo had ever encountered. He couldn’t take a compliment for the life of him and would just stutter and blush then change the subject of the conversation and he was a bit of a pushover."

He knows very well that he gets emotionally attached to people, kids specifically, way too quick. You can't blame him though, he just wants to be there for them in a way that nobody was for him at their age. He hadn't expected it to be this hard though.

Phil sees Ranboo out in the snow at 7AM and questions him on it. The answer is not what he wanted to hear.

Life was way more tiring than he remembered.
Everything was changing all the time, it had all changed since his death, the L'manburg crater was much bigger than he thought it would be but oh well. New people had arrived, people that knew the people that he knew, that no longer wanted to know him. He was already having trouble keeping up with who hated who and who was allied with who and what nations had arisen in the ashes of his symphony.
or,
Wilbur is suffering with sensory overload what with being dead for 13 years then suddenly being thrown back into the land of the living. Tommy finds him mid-panic attack and wants to help.

Niki didn't understand her own emotions, they didn't make any sense because she sorely missed Wilbur, but Wilbur was right there, but he wasn't the same person he was before, but wasn't he? He was certainly the same person she had known in pogtopia, and she had still loved him back then, so why didn't she love him now?
or,
Niki feels like she has to love Wilbur because that's what everyone says a "good best friend" does. After a confrontation with Wilbur himself she takes the first step to get herself out of that toxic mindset.
