Gabriel O’Hara showed up at his brother’s apartment at eleven-oh-seven PM, sharp—on a work night, because of course his older brother couldn’t just be convenient for once in his life—in response to a distressing holo-message from Miguel that began with him falling over from a seated position and ended with a teary, slurred rant in such white-man Spanish that their mother would’ve hit him upside the head with an ¡Hablemos!: Gramática para Niños book if she’d heard it.
Although Gabriel would’ve much preferred to just let someone like Lyla or Dana (or, like, Xina, he supposed, if she and Miggy were still on speaking terms?) take the lead and comfort his wreck of a brother, Miguel had called him, and by decree of familial obligation Gabriel had no choice but to deal with his idiot supergenius older brother who was an asshole most of the time and also a stupidly emotional drunk.
OR,
Over time, and against his will, Miguel finds out how to love himself.

Summary
Moominpappa had resigned himself to knowing that the Joxter wouldn’t return to Moominvalley, even if it had taken him longer than even the Mymble to stop showing up by the small bridge every summer morning. Moominmamma had given birth to their son, tiny Moomintroll, the same year the Joxter had disappeared with nary a trace.
Nary a trace. Not without a trace.
For even if the Mymble did adamantly refuse to name the fathers of any of her children, it was quite obvious as to who the father of the clearly half-mumrik, only-child that she delivered in the following spring was.
OR,
Snufkin doesn't really have any parents— at least, not since he was little. This is fine.

Summary
You ever feel like a wave distance you further and further into the deepest depths of the abyss?
Or has it always been your ambition to try and overrun all odds?
Miguel O'Hara, boy prodigy who seems to have used his intellect for the wrong reasons. His father decide he is good enough to be dragged out of middle school and placed into a competitive, college-ready boarding school in North Salem, Westchester county. He thought he'd be dealing with bratty kids of socialites, or academic rivalries who saw him inferior. Only the latter speaks the truth.
He meets a group of eccentric geniuses. His class roster graduate of 2088 and a girl that he finds more than just a friend. Add that with Tyler Stone breathing down on his neck at all times.
Mixed with student-body politics, psychopaths, and kids cannonballing themselves into the skies in means of entertainment, this was going to be a long four years.
IN SHORT: This is a remake of the Young Miguel storyline.

Summary
When a cross-dimensional collider goes screwy in Brooklyn and kills the world as she knows it, MJ Watson-Parker finds herself loveless and unexpectedly cast in the role of Spider-Woman—powers and all.
Four years later and way too late, the Spider Society comes to call, offering MJ top billing in the fight to defend the multiverse. Desperate for purpose, she joins up and quickly learns there’s a lot more baggage that comes with the whole mind-bending mystery of how she ended up as a wall-crawler.
But, hey, at least the guy in charge is easy on the eyes and fun to fluster. It's the little things, ya know?
