“Coq au vin,” Hannibal announced as he presented the dish, his usual informative flair carrying a weight that felt suffocatingly intimate. He could see Will’s eyes light up, an amused sparkle breaking through the layers of complexity that defined their bond. “French-style stew of braised fall-apart tender chicken in a rich, tangy red wine sauce,” he continued, sinking slowly into his seat across from Will, who stirred the warm concoction with the same care one might afford a fragile relationship.
“The Gallic leader sent the Roman emperor a rooster, symbolizing the fighting spirit of the French forces…” Hannibal paused, meeting Will’s gaze, a glimmer of something unnameable passing between them. “The day before the battle, Julius Caesar invited Vercingetorix to eat and served him… the same rooster, cooked in a wine preparation.”
Amusement flickered across Will's features, laced delicately with the tension that always threaded between them. “I hope this isn’t your way of inviting me to a battle, Hannibal.”

Summary
Caine's been studying on what human life might be like outside of the circus by scraping the internet for information on human life! Unfortunately for the Circus, his sources were dramatic television show clips. Trying his best to cheer everyone up, Caine gives everyone the experience of a normal domestic life in "Shrimp Town"... with a dash of arranged marriage. Jax and Pomni find themselves shoved into a house together, rings on their fingers, and must perform daily mundane tasks as a "married" couple to reach the end of the adventure. Things only get complicated further when an NPC who suspiciously looks like both of them shows up.

He supposes it's probably time to lift his father's magic ban if he is to marry a sorcerer.Merlin doesn't know how to break it to Arthur that he's, one, a sorcerer, two, the sorcerer that Arthur is looking for and intends to marry (???), and three, that he's also quite stupidly in love with him and isn't actually all that opposed to the whole marriage thing.
