Izaya senses something shifting unexpectedly in his relationship with Shizuo and decides to investigate, even if it involves switching things up a bit. His willingness to play this new game wavers, however, when it comes to acknowledging that what he finds is likely to change everything between them for good.

Caelus was beneath him, long legs bent in what was surely an uncomfortable angle to accommodate the small space they were confined in. Dan Heng, on the other hand, loomed over him. He was forced onto all fours with his knees caging Caelus' waist, his hands pressed against the floor as he strained his arms in an effort to hold himself up so as to not crush Caelus with his weight.
It was getting hard to breathe. Dan Heng wasn't sure if it was due to the tiny space they were forced to share, or the fact that their faces were in such close proximity. The last time Dan Heng observed Caelus' face this closely was on the day they first met and March had urged him to do CPR.
(In which Dan Heng starts feeling strange, strange things towards a certain boy with the Stellaron.)

Distract them to get ahold of the 𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘐𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 medicine -a genius invention of Natasha's late brother- then head for its creator's laboratory to gather any useful medical supplies.Those would probably fetch a good deal in the Underworld, Sampo thought gleefully.
Except that, not even an hour later, he finds himself cursing his overconfidence as his plan unravels before his eyes.
Alternatively, how Sampo copes with the aftermath of his bad decisions, accidentally uncovers a conspiracy and learns to love, all while giving Gepard gray hair.
