"Are you my mama?"
Chuuya freezes and tries not to visibly choke.
Am I your what? he barely stops himself from blurting.
"Dazai-san said you're my mama... but not like my real mama, just my 'for now' mama... he said he can be my 'for now' papa..."
That shitty bastard.
Atsushi is looking at him very hopefully. Ah, an orphan desperate for parents, even if they're just 'for now'.
It's really not worth hurting his feelings...
"Yeah." I'm gonna kill you, Dazai. "Yeah, I'm your... 'for now' mama." I'm gonna fucking kill you.
___
When Atsushi is deaged, Dazai drops him off at Chuuya's on his day off. In the process, Chuuya learns that there was something very wrong with Atsushi's childhood and does his best to give him the care he was missing, all the while dealing with the troubling discovery that people call him 'Mama of the Port Mafia' behind his back.

"Is yours as excited about it as mine is?" Dazai asked, casually leaning over the divider.
"A bit nervous about it— but he usually is." Ranpo shrugged, "He’s looking forward to it— despite his fretting." Dazai smirked— resting his head on his fist with a cheerful smile.
"Aww, I'm sure he'll do great." He held a hand above his head, catching Ranpo's haphazardly tossed gummy without issue. "At the very least, he shouldn't have much trouble being better behaved than mine."
"You sure do seem to have your hands full." Ranpo laughed,"It'll be nice to have a challenge, and I'm sure you're eager for an easy scene."
"No such thing." Dazai responded, popping the gummy into his mouth. "You know that."
"Sure, but at least mine doesn't bite. You think he'll behave for the playdate?"
"I doubt it— he wouldn't have half as much fun if he did."
....Aka, Dazai and Ranpo dom the hell out of their boys together- for better or worse.

“Wanna try it?" And god casts a grin that puts even the devil to shame as he taps against the choker with an agonizing speed. Every sound, every touch intensifies as he works his way to the back of the choker, undoing the buckle to hold the item between his fingers, dangling it over Dazai's stomach to watch how his eyes widen with the sight. "Come here and I'll put it on you."

Summary
“Chuu-ya,” crooned Dazai in her ear. “I think we miscalculated.”
“Hah?” Putting the recipe book down, for now, she turned around to see… a very alert-looking Dazai. Oh. “The label to said to have it, what, half an hour before sex?”
“The company lied—or they’re wrong.” The intensity of Dazai’s gaze, her blown pupils, the beautiful weight of her intent—all of it woke up Chuuya’s body, leaving her thrumming with need.

Everyone in the room watched with bated breath as Chuuya slowly pushed past the door, and now that Dazai could see more of him, he raised an eyebrow at the man's unusually messy state. His coat and hat were nowhere to be found, and his dress shirt was soaked through from the rain outside.

Mori is an asshole and Chuuya's had enough.

“Uh, sorry, but unfortunately I already have a date to the dance.”
“Oh, really?” Tachihara says, sounding disappointed. He pauses for a second, clearly processing what Chuuya’s just told him, and then says, “Who is it?”
Chuuya certainly hadn’t budgeted for this. Panicking, he tries to think of the people that he knows that are single, and before he knows it, the first name that comes to mind is slipping out of his mouth. “With Dazai.” / After a momentary lapse in judgment, high school student Chuuya ends up having to pretend to date his enemy Dazai to get Tachihara off of his back - and quickly finds it's nowhere as bad as he'd imagined.

Keeping the Port Mafia stable is vital to keeping Yokohama’s underworld in check. With Mori’s death, everyone’s in agreement that Dazai is needed to help with the difficult transition period. It should be easy, but he can’t shake the feeling Chuuya might have taken his position as Boss the same way Mori once had.

This STRESSED ME TF OUT! OML! BUT I WAS SO INVESTED AND ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT! I feel like this could have still been just as strong without having Tachihara genuinely in love with Chuuya—it could have just been him being platonically loyal bc goddamn Chuuya is fantastic boss.
Predictable—but I love how the story allows for that to happen. Allows the reader to figure it out so it’s not a bad thing at all! Honestly I loved being right!
I love the way the story plays into Chuuya being equally intelligent as Dazai—they *are* equals and I just love that so much. Some parts annoyed me, but that’s just personal opinions. Overall great story!
