The newest employee of Endeavor Inc.'s Sales Department, Midoriya Izuku, was a friendly enough guy, if a bit quiet about his personal life. All they knew was that he was married for a handful of years already, he had an adorable daughter who was around toddler age, and his wife was, apparently: beautiful, with a flourishing career, and a proverbial domestic goddess.
“Mon ami, you’re very fortunate indeed to have a wife that makes you bentos every single day! And she does it before she goes to work herself? How dévouée!”
An awkward scratch to the back of the head.

The quiet droning of Aizawa's calming voice stops before starting again, but this time Izuku is able to understand what he's saying, although it takes him a moment to process, "What doesn't?"
He shrugs, "Everything."'

They also think he’s the traitor. But what had he done that made them believe that? He was so confused. Everything was fine last night before his parents left. They had hugged the two of them goodbye before they left, promising they’d be safe. Telling him and Eri that they loved them.
His dad- could he even call him that anymore?- grabbed him by the arm and made him stand, glaring heavily at him.
“You aren’t my child,” he hissed, “neither of you. And you are going to regret ever being here.”
Hitoshi felt as if someone had ripped out his heart and stepped on it. What had he done that was so bad?
Or Alternatively: Hitoshi is accused of being a villain, which leads to a terrible confrontation between Aizawa, Hizashi, and Hitoshi, and it brings back some awful memories and insecurities Hitoshi hasn’t had in years. All while trying to protect his little sister.

Izuku’s not winning any points for bedside manner but at this point, he doesn't really care.

There is so much red, it pools out thick like a tub of paint. All Shouta can see is red and muted green like some type of twisted rendition of holiday colors. In the middle of- too much blood, so much blood, you can't live with this much blood outside you can you? a puddle of blood, lays his problem child. He is sprawled out across the ground. His breaths are shallow and laced with the smallest of whimpers. Tears stream down the boy's face. The only movement is Midoriyas hand which he raises with great effort before letting it swing back down to the ground. This time it catches empty air instead of the sliding door, but it's like the boy doesn't even notice. His eyes continue to stare at some unknown point as if he doesn't register shouta standing horrified and frozen in the doorway.

Summary
Being quirkless in today's hero society is the closest thing you can get to a legal death sentence. Most quirkless people choose to take their own life, if hate crimes don't kill them first.
So when Izuku, who should be quirkless, finds out that he has a quirk after falling from a rooftop, it leaves him with more questions than he possibly has time to find the answers for. And if those answers lead to him making friends with people in and out of Yuuei, making some highly questionable and probably illegal choices, causing people to have mental breakdowns over their quirks and maybe even the start of another social revolution, well, at least he isn't trying to kill himself anymore.
