Summary
When a startling discovery pertaining to the war drains the dreaded Black Dragon of the Apocalypse of his anger, Acnologia is left wandering through the centuries without clear purpose. His misanthropic days end, however, when a young dragon slayer winds up in his care. Stumbling into the plot of time-misplaced children, Acnologia is determined to find the rest of the dragon slayer children to ensure some measure of their safety. He never imagined he would get so attached along the way, and he never even dreamed of gaining a family. Acnologia may not know what he's doing, but he's sure of one thing: he'll do anything in his power to protect those five kids—even if that means protecting them from himself.

A Papalogia AU
When a startling discovery drains the dreaded Black Dragon of the Apocalypse of his anger, Acnologia is left wandering through the centuries without clear purpose. Somehow, it is a path that leads to five young dragon slayers coming into his care and to the joining of a guild of human mages—who are also mostly children. No, he has no idea what he is doing, but if it is what it takes to atone for his sins, then he is willing to try.
However, with the shadows of the Dragon War still lingering, the plight of the dragon slayers is not over. But this time, Acnologia found something to protect, and he would fight the gods themselves if it would keep them safe. Unfortunately, it is a resolve that may prove to be true.

Summary
James had woken with a brick in his stomach that morning. The thing is he’s always been a bit of a frayed nerve before quidditch, occasionally even a pre-game-puker, and it’s all only gotten worse since becoming Captain. Sure he puts on his usual face for the team (his Potter swagger if you will) but it’s all flimsily covering a deep fear that this match is the one everyone will see he’s not actually got it. And he can’t let the team down like that. So when he wakes up at the crack of dawn before the Ravenclaw match feeling as though everything he’d eaten in the last week has cemented to his insides, he doesn’t give it much extra thought.
Or, James mistakes illness for anxiety before a big match and Lily notices him far more than she’d care to admit.
