Legend moved fast enough that Warriors didn’t have time to process the shing of a blade being unsheathed before there was something sharp under his chin.
“We are going to do this my way,” Legend said, low and dangerous. There was something dark and desperate in his eyes. “At this point, I don’t care what I have to do to ensure that.”

Legend never expected to have to use the Song Of Time.
He’s not sure how many more loops he can take. He can’t see his brothers die in front of him again, and they’re not listening to him!

Link trusted his instincts. Only ten minutes after meeting the heroes, he was inclined to believe their story. He didn’t trust them, of course not! But their story was possible. That was enough to not just warn them, but help them.
Not that he would have left anyone in the presence of such a powerful Ache if he could help it, but it was especially important that these possible heroes knew of the danger in their midst.
The one that called itself the Hero of Twilight.
Or: Twilight uses shadow magic. This leads to some unfortunate assumptions.

Summary
Legend is standing in a field. Grass stretches to the horizon in front of him, dotted here and there with broken or rusted weapons. Stars wheel overhead, faster than they should, contrasted by a stationary full moon hanging in the sky.
He turns, hoping to find some kind of landmark, and finds that he’s standing before a ruin. Bricks, with grass growing in the cracks between them, show the outline where the massive structure used to be. There are pillars lining the ruin, cracked and fallen and broken, though one or two still stand.
And in the very center stands a god.
Legend knows this is a dream. He knows that does not protect him.
He walks into the ruin.

Beautiful white beach, familiar curved coastline -
No, Legend reminds himself harshly, trying to shove the thought away. This isn’t familiar. It’s just a beach, he’s seen other beaches before, not every beach is the beach. The beach where Wind lives had looked sort of familiar, too, before he took a closer look at it, because all beaches are similar to each other by virtue of all being beaches.
But it isn’t just a passing resemblance. As he takes a closer look at the terrain and the shape of the coastline, he realizes that it - it fits. He knows this place.
He can’t know this place, though, he thinks with rising horror, because this place stopped existing years ago.
Or: Legend visits Eventide Island and has a bad time

“Nah, we’re way cooler than Kokiri.” Wind recovers first, and he moves to the front of the group and kneels down with a bright grin. “I’m Wind, what’s your name?”
Time - he’s smaller than Four, dear Hylia he’s so little - blinks at him, then ducks his head a bit. Hyrule notices that he’s holding a fistful of the fabric of his tunic, like Hyrule does when he gets nervous. “… Link.”

“Why are we still here?” one of the travelers complained later that day. “It’s been almost two weeks. Usually we’d be gone by now.”
“We haven’t accomplished our goal here,” the one with the scarf - Warriors - said with a shrug.
Wind sighed, leaning back against a tree. “What is our goal?”
Legend snorted at the question. “It’s obvious, isn’t it? We’re here to find Link.”
The others all paused, processing that, and Link froze from where he was peeking out of the scarf.
“... That… makes sense,” Four said after a moment.
“I suppose that is fairly obvious,” Sky sighed. “But surely we’d have run into him by now?”
Pressing his back against a higher fold of scarf so he wasn’t visible anymore, Link took quick, panicked breaths, keeping as quiet as possible. They were looking for him.
Or: What if Hyrule was the last one to join the Chain, and what if he wasn't in the shape of a Hylian when he did it? And what if there were a lot of tears and some hugs at the very end?

Summary
Standing behind the new hero was…another him, only slightly different. And also a ghost. That part was very important to note.
The ghost wore the same clothing as Wild, but his hair was much shorter, neater and more restrained. His skin was smooth and nearly unblemished. Though his expression came off as blank and severe, Wind could see the sadness that pulled at the corners of his eyes, the weight that curved his shoulders slightly inwards. He hardly moved.
OR: The version of Wild that died in the Calamity follows him around. Wind can see ghosts. These two facts are not unrelated.

Summary
Sky has a separate moment with each member of the team;. Bad decisions, fight scenes and deep conversations ensue. In which:
- Warrior's Hyrule sucks, Sky makes an interesting decision and Warriors is justifiably frustrated.
- There is a thunderstorm, a Guardian and a Lynel, and things go… slightly better than expected, actually.
- A vacation begins, and Outset Island's shores are a nice place to get less nice things off your mind.
- Being prophetic is far less helpful than it sounds, and Wind is having an unfortunate time.
- It's Sky's respiratory system against the world, and Twilight's big brother instincts don't falter against anyone younger than him.
- Sky takes his rightful place as most huggable Link, takes notes and finds out new things regarding Four.
- There's calm before a storm, and Sky and Hyrule do some rebelling.
- The storm arrives, shit goes down, and Time and Sky have a long awaited conversation.
- Sky, in the past and present. Everything comes to a long, sixteen-part, twenty-three-thousand word conclusion.

He keeps it a secret. He doesn't tell anyone. He has a medicine and can keep his curse at bay.
It won't become an issue. He can fight it back. He just needs to keep going, and everything will be alright.
