Summary
In the wake of a rising number of disappearances and murders, Sheriff Morgan is working to track down and stop the gang known as The Devil's Brides.
The leads are few and haven't led anywhere thus far, but Shepherd thinks he's finally found the one that will bring him to the Bride's doorstep to rain his judgment down upon them: A reclusive, gorgeous apothecary he suspects is getting blackmailed by the gang.
The two, joined by a half-elven noble woman who has the Devil's eyes set upon her, venture out into the desert plains, to mount Ravenloft, the lair of the Brides.
The fight may be bloody, but Shepherd has faith that he'll be able to protect Eden and stop the beautiful Devil Strahd.

Summary
After Kana's lesson with Escher in episode 19, Shepherd and Escher have a moment alone.
Escher gets on Shepherd's nerves, so he pulls a gun on him. Escher is unsurprisingly into this, and Shepherd realizes he may have a more sadistic side. (Of course, being very well-adjusted and with zero religious baggage, Shepherd deals with and explores this healthily and without guilt or shame :)
Escher has a pain kink and a thing for hot cowboys, and he wishes this one would stop having moral dilemmas and get back to threatening him and being hot.

What he does care about is enjoying a nice drink at the local pub, and when a hot blonde at the bar winks at him, he finds a far better way to enjoy the evening than looking for some "monster".

Escher is doing... pretty great actually! He's got a castle, a daughter and a life away from his past. It's not perfect but honestly he isn't doing too bad. What is too bad is the fact that this hot, fiery cowboy seems to hate him for no reason.Series
