Summary

Will he be able to come out the other side of this?

Their eyes meet. Superman appraises him silently. Tracks the emaciated planes of his face down to the sharp jut of his collarbones from under the neck of his shirt. Lex doesn’t let himself wish for a door to close, for a curtain to drop, for a blanket to pull over his head. He feels like a child. Terrified and sick about it.
“It’s Wednesday,” Superman says, voice low. Gentle, almost, as if Lex is some sort of stray animal, tense and shaking, primed to bite. Demeaning.
Lex is not shaking. He holds his breath for a moment, wills the rhythm of his lungs to slow. He concentrates the fear into disgust, into a single heated beam of hatred. There are protections in place. Contracts, laws. Lex is government property. Superman won’t — he won’t.
Nobody will touch Lex Luthor.

Summary
Obito arrives a few moments earlier when Rin jumps in front of Kakashi’s chidori. He’s still too late to save her, but he’s in time to watch the sequence of events that makes Kakashi shatter. Instead of returning to Madara, he chooses to live by his own mantra and refuses to abandon his friend in his time of need. Obito returns to Konoha with Kakashi, and this results in just a few unintended consequences. One of them being his insistence that he should be allowed to care for his late sensei’s orphan son, no matter what the Sandaime might say about the matter. He’s not quite sure how Kakashi becoming his unofficial co-parent fits into this, but he’ll figure it out eventually.

"Okay, the color scheme could maybe stand to be changed," Obito conceded. He heard Konan snort from underneath the table.
He glanced briefly at Hidan, who was now shaking his shoulders, and the entire curtain, laughing at Obito.

Summary
When Luke was eight, he was taken from his home on Tatooine and delivered into the hands of the emperor and his right hand.
When Luke was sixteen, he overheard the emperor's plans to steal a tiny Force sensitive child and saves him first, before being caught and dragged back to his masters' keeping.
When Luke was eighteen, he finds that same child on Gideon's cruiser, and spares both him and his family, including a silver clad Mandalorian.
And when Luke was twenty-four, he is captured by the Rebellion (captured or did he just let it happen? Really up for debate) and secretly sent as a prisoner to Mandalore, where Mand'alor Din Djarin rebuilds his planet and raises his son.
And the rest was history. Or the beginning.

Obi-Wan’s looked pensive. “We did what we thought was right, Luke. But we didn’t always understand the consequences. The Jedi of my time believed emotion was a weakness. We didn't realize that our emotions are also where our strength comes from. Compassion, sorrow, hope. Without them, we’re just wielders of power. Not protectors.”
Luke looked up. “Then what do I do? I’m trying to rebuild the Jedi, but I can’t follow the same path if it leads us to the same mistakes.”
Obi-Wan’s gaze softened. “You do what we could not. You rebuild the Jedi not from stone or scripture, but from understanding. We tried to shape Jedi’s into vessels of control and discipline, but we forgot that the Force is life. And life...requires love.”

Summary
