Behind closed doors, Dogen Boole retreats further and further away from his friends. Razputin can’t get him to talk about the event that finally caused them to retreat to their guy-in-the-chair status. The Watch-and-Learn Protocol is present in every animatronic in the Mega PizzaPlex. It allows the AIs to adapt and develop in response to observation and interaction with humans, to become as lifelike as possible. It was inspired by existing programs, with advanced filters to allow them to judge the morality of a behavior before adapting it into their files.
It was installed over the network like a routine software update, rather than something new and experimental to be carefully tested and monitored by the technicians. Aside from that, there’s nothing in the program to suggest that it is anything other than a genuine Fazbear Entertainment program.

While rebuilding Ekko's machine fails, magic does follow intent. What if Powder had stumbled upon another way of seeing the sister that she knows still lives? In their dreams, at least, they can find a way to come together and experience how such a reunion could play out.
