Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman was always meant for more—for Piltover, for greatness, for a life where everything had a place, everything made sense. Vi was never supposed to be part of that equation.
They were young when they first met. They weren't dating, not really. Gravity is the reason we fall, Caitlyn had said to her. But Vi knows now—there are other forces, unseen, inescapable. Light bends under gravity. Even the brightest things carry weight. And Caitlyn had always been light to her.
Years later, Vi sees Caitlyn’s name on the news. Caitlyn, who has been in control of everything, is in a car crash. Twisted metal, shattered glass, sirens wailing into the night. By the time Vi reaches the hospital, they’re already fighting to keep Caitlyn alive. She watches from the ER doorway as doctors force air into Caitlyn’s lungs, as her heart monitor flatlines, as they shock her back to life.
Vi doesn’t go inside Caitlyn's room. Maddie does. The fiancée. The woman Caitlyn chose.
Vi should leave. She should let go. But some things never stop moving, even when they should. Even light, when it’s close enough to the edge, can’t escape.

Summary
"You aren't supposed to be here." the woman tells her.
"Is your name on this damn bridge?" Vi bites back, not yet opening her eyes to regain focus.
"I'm sorry but I really need this bridge to be alone and...if you could please leave, I'd appreciate it." the woman says, an accent so thick it might as well have clogged her throat.
That's it.
Vi opens her eyes and turns her head to get a good look at her.
"Listen here you—" the words got caught in her throat at that moment, her initial thought and insult that sat on the tip of her tongue.
Her grip on the railing unconsciously softened, unaware of how the tension had slowly started to slip away.
The woman was so beautiful, Vi almost didn't want to jump.

Summary
“You..you’re in love with me,” Violet whispered, the realization hitting her like a thunderclap.
The woman’s smile faltered, though her gaze remained steady, unwavering. “Yes,” she admitted, the word heavy with both torment and longing. “I have been for lifetimes. And now that you are here, within my reach, I would burn the world to keep you by my side. Tell me, my Violet - do you not feel it too? The pull between us? The way our souls call to one another, as they always have?”
Violet’s knees felt weak, her body trembling as the woman reached for her again, her fingers brushing against Violet’s jaw with a tenderness that made her heart ache. She hated how much she wanted to lean into the touch, how much she wanted to close the distance between them. “I don’t know what I feel,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. “I only know that you terrify me…and that I can’t look away.”

Summary
Caitlyn’s hands cupped Vi’s face more firmly now, her gaze locking onto those powder-blue eyes, shimmering like stormy skies.
“You’ve been through hell, Vi. You’ve carried so much, and I know it feels impossible to let it go. But please, don’t you see? You deserve this peace. You deserve happiness. And I’m going to be here with you, every step of the way, you hear me? I am going to be here until you believe it too.”
After the battle of Piltover, Vi is consumed by grief over losing everyone, and the memory of Jinx haunts her every day. Drowning in depression, she pushes away all hope, even Caitlyn’s unwavering support.
But healing is a choice only Vi can make. Confronting her darkness, she learns to carry her pain, finding strength to rebuild herself and fight for a brighter future.

Summary
A figure approached Caitlyn's right side window, until the passenger got in, vaguely smelling of cigarettes of unknown origins — that might have been hers or from those around her. The passenger gave her a quick glance, gray eyes partly hidden beneath a swoop of red — no, cherry pink, almost mistakable for red under poor lighting — a hairstyle that surprisingly passed their dress code.
“You’re Vi?” Caitlyn continued when the other girl didn’t react. “I’m sure you know who I am.”
Vi nodded, her eyes finding attraction somewhere else, beyond the car window. The tension Caitlyn tried to pretend wasn’t there settled in the small confines of the station car, building up like a slowly condensing glass, aggravated by the fact that she was having a monologue for two.
