Winter is rolling around the corner, bringing with it the very amazing break from school.
Because of this, Sunny has come to visit Faraway for a few weeks!Hero and Kel are more than happy to let Sunny sleep with them in their bedroom as he stays.
That is, until their new roommate starts muttering things in his sleep.Constant nightmares plague their friend almost every night.
And one evening, while Sunny is taking a nap, he whispers a name that none of his friends recognize.Who is.. "Omori"?

On Sunny's end of the stick, things aren't doing so well. Being back at Faraway has proven to be a mistake, as the familiar place kept triggering back memories.
The stress is so much, that Sunny finds himself accidentally falling back into his old habits. His dreams.
While he's there, he's greeted by good old Omori, who is just as upset as he is with him being back.
HEADSPACE shouldn't exist anymore. And it won’t. They'll make sure of that.Because if the dreamer fails to end his dream, then Omori will make sure he won’t ever awake again.

Summary
Sunny reveals the truth towards the gang. Unfortunately, the gang doesn't handle it far too well. Despite that, Sunny and Basil spend time at the hospital and begins to reconnect over their past and enjoy the time Sunny has left before he is discharged from the hospital. Kel, Aubrey, and Hero would then have to wrap their heads around the news and try to cope as well. A (hopefully) realistic take on how the gang would slowly learn to forgive and move on.

To draw upon the things you’ve seen, the things you’ve heard, the things you’ve felt, it can bring concepts and imagination to life.
And when you’ve thought so much of one person… When you’ve obsessed over a single, timeless facsimile of someone for so long, in slumber and in sleep, in sickness and in health…
It too can be brought to life.
And it will be imprinted with that obsession.

He doesn't want to but his mom and sister insist he's ready. He wants to try to be as independent as possible, which means no ASL translators. If he's lucky, maybe no one at this school will even notice he exists.
He never expected to find someone who wanted to exist even less than he did.

And so, they ran away.But nothing lasts forever. They’re tired of living like this, in loneliness and uncertainty. And so, after four whole years, they return home, seeking reunion with old friends.
But Something still lives in the house, in the town. Something still haunts them. As long as Something lives, they’ll never be free.And Basil will do anything it takes to save Sunny and his friends…no matter the cost.
