Summary

She had made it clear that, no matter what history they shared, she didn't want a Death Eater for a friend, and he'd already taken the Dark Mark. But in this world, the beginnings of a desperate plan filled his mind.
Later that night, Lily found a parchment crumpled into her pocket. It contained information on a raid planned by the Death Eaters, and a shaky half-crown that she recognized at once.

And they’d pretend they were fine with it, but Eddie and Chim wouldn’t change until he left locker room, and Hen and Karen would start inviting him over for wine nights, and Bobby will look at him differently, and his whole life, everything he’s worked towards, his happiness, it’ll all come tumbling down. The room was spinning so fast that he felt sick. He couldn’t breathe. It felt like all the air had been sucked out of the room. He was left with the pounding in his head. All the voices telling him he was a disgrace. Telling him he was disgusting. The spinning room, the air, the noise, the anger. The collapse. Tommy will tell. He’s gonna tell everyone. Oh god, everyone’s going to know.
