It's hard to keep a straight face at that.
Clark's lips curve into a fond smile as he chuckles and shakes his head, leaning back against his seat, a hand rubbing across the nape of his neck.
"Yeah. Maybe I have. The coffee's great here. And the company is really nice." Clark offers a smile as he meets Bruce's eyes, holding his gaze for a beat too long before returning it to his pie.
He doesn't miss the way Bruce's heart rate stutters at his comment.

Summary

There’s just a couple of problems: Matthias’s advisors feel that any other suitor would be better, and those other suitors are very jealous of Brian.
