Summary
The Hall of Records was a huddled, brooding mess of a building, chilled through in Summer and Winter alike and sternly averse to the coddling rays of the sun.
Even so, it was home to Jon and he would happily have remained his whole life amongst its cluttered corridors and shelves, the dark, despairing corners and the knowledge that warmth was something that only happened to other people.
But the Lord of the Hall had other plans for him.
