A sci-fi retelling of the Warrior Cats series. A very simple beat-for-beat retelling but with all the characters as an anthro species of cat living in a futuristic space setting. Plot rewriting will be minimal.
Updates by chapter as I find time. This is a project for myself while I recover from surgery.

Summary
No one noticed the infection before it was too late, not even Caine.
Driving mad by the corruption, the Ringmaster adapted a monstrous form to hunt down anything that moves... unable to tell the difference between a malicious virus, or his beloved players. The humans are forced to hide to survive, stuck in endless game of cat and mouse that's been going on for years. Now they wait for the end, but what will get them first? The Viruses? Caine? Or will they simply succumb to abstraction?
Until one day a certain jester joins the Circus, causing Caine to reboot.

Summary
It’s been a few days since The Favorite Character Awards.
Pomni has been through a number of bizarre things during her time in the circus. Candy truck chases, angel head horrors, minimum wage labor, athletic events, gun-filled battle royales. But none of these come close to what she witnesses on a seemingly innocent day full of beach-filled fun: Caine attempting to take his own life.
After managing to stop him, Pomni takes it upon herself (and is borderline forced to by Bubble) to help keep Caine’s mental state intact by engaging in improvised therapy sessions with him. After all, if Caine died, what would happen to the circus? And to the humans that lived within it? This was her only concern at first. But as Caine opens up to her more through these sessions, she realizes just how much the AI is hurting and how long he has been harboring these negative emotions.
Turns out Caine needs more help than she thought.
He's just as trapped in this game as they are. And worse.

In the final Physical Challenge against the Lightners, Tenna grapples with his own insecurities and feelings. What good is a TV without an audience? But through the haze of his own pain, he might not be able to see the hurt he's causing until it's too late.
Or an exploration of Tenna's boss fight and his thoughts and feelings during it, and what happens if the player quits after dying in this battle (aka Tenna crashes out so hard he unintentionally contributes to the end of the world).
