Summary
There are three kinds of people in this world: sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs. Some prefer to believe that evil doesn’t exist. And if it ever comes knocking at their door, they won’t be able to protect themselves. These people are sheep. Then there are predators. They use violence to oppress the weak. These are wolves. The third kind are those naturally gifted with aggression and a need to protect the flock. These are a rare breed, born to fight back against the wolves. These are the sheepdogs. ©

Summary
A shifted flower vase. A mug not where he had left it. A light bulb unscrewed in the hallway. A smiley face on the bathroom mirror that appeared when it fogged up during a shower.
A fall from a balcony. A slit wrists. A damaged brakes.
It's just a coincidence, right?
Don’t invent detective stories about psychopathic killers.

Summary
Seungkwan shifts his gaze from Soonyoung—to just behind him, to the royal viewing platform. Princess Subin has jumped to her feet, clapping enthusiastically, and even the king and queen are smiling in clear approval. But that’s not what grabs Seungkwan’s breath and refuses to let it go.
Pale skin. Black shoulder-length hair. Eyes so dark they look into your soul. And a smirk—the kind only the devil himself could wear.
Seungkwan doesn’t know what the crown prince looks like.
But he knows that man. The one now seated in the chair that had stood empty all day—the king’s beloved son’s seat.
He knows that voice, whispering sweet compliments in the dark. He knows those hands, tracing fire across his skin.
Fuck.

Summary
“I’ll consider forgiving you,” Seungkwan concludes, withdrawing his hand, “when you, like the misbehaving dog you are, spend the night on your dog bed instead of your master’s.”
Normally, he’d be tender now—rewarding Soonyoung’s obedience with soft strokes and affectionate touches. But tonight, Soonyoung hasn’t earned them. Tonight, all he gets is a dissatisfied look from above and a curt:
“Go.”

Summary
That’s not a bad thing. It’s just the reality of their world. A world where monsters lurk in the shadows and people in the light can’t protect themselves. That’s what the clans are for—like his. Clans of hunters, passing down knowledge and their craft from generation to generation. Passing down responsibility for countless lives within their territories—a responsibility that will one day rest entirely on Seungkwan’s shoulders, along with the title of clan leader.
Even if he doesn't want it.

Summary
The door is opened by... a priest
A young one and really good-looking. Who’s also staring right back.
The stranger’s lips curl into a charming smirk, and he purrs:
“I’ve never had a cute little demon confess his sins to me before.”
Seungkwan freezes in shock.
“Although, if I’m being honest… right now I don’t think I’d be strong enough to resist sin myself,” the priest adds with what is possibly the most indecent wink of Seungkwan’s life.
Could this very moment really be the tragic end of Boo Seungkwan — an ordinary office worker and devoted fan of every girl group in K-pop — who's going to die of a full-body blush and a brain hemorrhage caused by secondhand flirtation?

Summary
Seungkwan brushes the hair at the top of Jun’s head aside — and sees antlers.
A sudden thump to his legs makes Seungkwan look down to see also... tail.
It sways slightly, brushing against his legs — lion-like, with that same familiar down, ending in a light-colored tuft. There’s a bit of scale there too.
Seungkwan, a little hesitantly, cups Jun’s face.
“Junnie… look at me, please,” he says carefully.
Jun struggles visibly to follow the request — but manages. And Seungkwan finds himself staring into a pair of glowing, sky-blue eyes.
“You… don’t want to eat me, do you?” he asks, tense.
Jun frowns, baffled.
“No,” he says immediately — then pauses, thinking. “But I would lick you, though. You smell so good, Kwannie, I can’t help it…” And before Seungkwan can react, Jun lunges and licks his cheek.
Seungkwan tries to hold him back — and fails. Jun’s tongue makes a loud, wet pass across his face. That, apparently, shocks Jun just as much, because he pulls back abruptly and freezes.
“That was weird,” he mumbles, and Seungkwan realizes: Jun doesn’t know. He has no idea what’s happened to him.

Summary
Jihoon falls silent, thoughtful. Then he raises an eyebrow.
“And why should I even owe belief to your story? You’re a—”
“Oh right, yes, I’m the lying demon who snacks on newborns and pushes grannies into traffic,” Seungkwan interrupts with a dramatic eye-roll. “I deserve nothing but eternal hatred and to be the dirt beneath the feet of His Radiance’s flawless servants, who never, ever judge anyone without trying to form an opinion of their own, because they’re all pure and good and I’m the only rotten one here.” Hot, bitter tears finally break loose despite his efforts to hold them back. “You don’t owe anyone anything, Jihoon. Don’t let my empty words deter you from your holy quest to cleanse the world — go ahead, erase me from existence with your blessed arrows, all because I dared to ruin some damn flowers. You can always ask Jeonghan afterward whether I was lying or not, if that actually matters to you.”

Summary
Seungkwan always underestimated his own abilities and admired Mingyu’s strength. He was never fair to himself — his magic could easily be called average — but he also never truly knew what his faithful partner was capable of.
Mingyu had never needed to use his magic for anything truly difficult — he didn’t seek greatness and genuinely loved their work in the ritual shop.
It’s almost ironic, then, that his life now resembles the origin story of a villain.

Summary
Seungkwan frowns, tightening his fingers around the taut bowstring. He’s already fifteen, and yet everyone still treats him like an infant. His father, his mother, his brothers…
But no one more than Seokmin.
Seokmin, nearly eighteen now — soon to be old enough to swear his vow to Seungkwan, just like he always wanted. And yet, even now, he seems to see him not as a person, but as something made of glass.
A beautiful, delicate, and precious vase — one that must be constantly watched over.
Seungkwan doesn’t feel special because of all the attention.
He just feels like a burden.
Seokmin is strong. He’s outmatched every boy his age in combat and earned enough of the king’s trust to escort Seungkwan into the city on his own. Not that anyone’s ever tried to harm the youngest prince — perhaps because he holds no real importance in the line of succession, or perhaps because the people simply love him too much — but Seungkwan knows Seokmin could protect him without breaking a sweat.
And Seungkwan… is just the youngest prince. Not exceptional. Not skilled. Can’t even hold a bow right.

Summary
No, he’s not alright.
He saw the person he loves more than life. Someone he’d already lost once. And now… couldn’t reach again.
Even if it’s a hallucination. Even if—
Wonwoo just wants to talk. He just… wants to apologize. To say how sorry he is, how stupid he was.
And how unbearable it is to live in this world without Seungkwan.
Not to therapists, not to friends. Not even to Seokmin, who had lost his best friend. To the one person who died having heard nothing but angry words from him, hurled in the heat of an argument. Wonwoo wishes those had been words of love instead. Wishes he’d been there in that terrifying moment, holding him close, whispering that everything would be okay. Even if it wouldn’t be. Even if…
The most amazing person in the world had died completely alone, hurt and abandoned—and that was entirely Wonwoo’s fault.
So… hallucination or spirit or whatever he is—Wonwoo has to tell him how much he loves him. He don’t think he could even die ever without doing that.

Summary
An unusual boy, with a scaly tail in place of legs, is perched on a rock at the water’s edge, looking at Seungkwan with deep annoyance.
“You scared off my meal,” the creature complains, then studies Seungkwan with a curious gaze. “But that’s fine. I like you better. Come here, birdie.”
The creature opens his mouth and… doesn’t speak for a while, while Seungkwan just stands there, frozen, blushing harder at the unexpected nickname.
“Why aren’t you coming?” The creature’s pale eyebrows knit together. “You didn’t like my song?”
That’s when Seungkwan snaps out of it. He starts gesturing frantically, then groans and smacks his own forehead.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you,” he finally says, voice rough and trembling. “I’m sure your song is beautiful—just like you—but... I can’t hear it. As much as I wish I could.”
The creature’s sharp eyes go wide in surprise—like he’s peering straight into Seungkwan’s soul—and then he tilts his head with interest.

Summary
“I think tonight’s the night he finally fucks you, Kwan-ah,” comes a silky voice beside him.
Seungkwan rolls his eyes.
“I don’t think so.”
“Well, bad news — you’re in the minority. Most people are betting he will. I’ve put money on him too. Hoping for a nice payout.”
“I honestly don’t know why we’re still friends, Jeonghan.”
Jeonghan just laughs.
“You love me,” he says, tugging playfully at Seungkwan’s cheek with that trademark smirk. “And deep down, in that filthy little soul of yours, I know you want him to fuck you too.”
Seungkwan sighs heavily and swats his hand away.
“I’m not a kindergarten for little boys to come play in, Hannie.”
“Oh, come on. He’s twenty-one, not fifteen,” Jeonghan scoffs, sipping his cocktail.
“Yeah, and I’m twenty-six. And I used to date his older brother,” Seungkwan mutters as he reaches for his own drink on the small table in front of the couch where the two of them are lounging.
He’d planned to take it easy tonight, but at this point he can’t handle this conversation sober.

Summary
He had always loved summer camps. As a child, he used to attend them constantly, and once he entered university, he began returning as a counselor. Nothing in the world could ever make him reconsider or skip a season. Until today.
Seungkwan lets out a bitter laugh under his breath, thinking that, probably, it’s all his own fault.
He simply shouldn’t have insisted so much on dragging his best friend along — someone who didn’t even like camps — if just the sight of him being kissed by some random girl counselor could shatter Seungkwan’s heart this badly.
What a fool he is.

Summary
Seungkwan has never been a particularly shy person, but… under the shocked stare of the store clerk, who is now processing Mingyu’s request for a purchase of one hundred suction-cup dildos, he can’t help but turn scarlet.
“That’s… really expensive,” Seungkwan mutters awkwardly.
“And really fun too, don’t you think?” Mingyu grins, winking at him.
Seungkwan agrees when, later, they cover the cheater’s entire car from top to bottom with dildos and literally cannot stop laughing.

Soonyoung involuntarily takes in Seungkwan’s appearance—disheveled hair, red eyes from crying, a bitten lip, dirty clothes, and a scraped knee. He had taken Seungkwan there hoping to see his radiant smile, and now… Now, he doesn’t even know if Seungkwan will ever smile at him again.

Summary
He thinks Sofia must have been wrong in her fortune-telling when she drew the Fortune card first out of three. He wasn’t a complete failure, but he had never considered himself particularly lucky either. Maybe it had something to do with his answer to her question about his greatest wish—after a quick glance at Hansol, Seungkwan had simply replied, “Success.”

Summary
Mingyu’s black ears press against his head from the affection, and his long, equally black tail coils around Seungkwan’s spotted one. In their jaguar-people tribe, most are spotted—only a few rare black ones appear, and they are highly valued by others for being larger and stronger. Seungkwan has always been smaller and weaker than even his spotted kin, making him seem even tinier in the arms of his massive black jaguar. But that never stopped him from feeling a sense of triumph in moments like these, when Mingyu desperately nuzzles into him, yearning for just one more kiss.

Summary
Joshua might look effortlessly elegant and aristocratically refined, as if he’s never lifted anything heavier than an umbrella or a teacup, but the moment he wears a short-sleeved shirt, it’s impossible to forget that he regularly hits the gym with fitness-obsessed Mingyu and Jihoon.
Pressed against Joshua’s chest, Seungkwan can clearly feel the toned muscles beneath him—not that it flusters him or anything. Of course, it does. Who is he even trying to fool?
“Let me go already,” Seungkwan demands firmly.
“But it’s been so long since we last hugged, Seungkwan-ah… Don’t you like hugging your favorite hyung?”
Seungkwan scoffs. Technically, he once had to promise Jeonghan that he was his favorite hyung—refusing Jeonghan was dangerous, so really, it had been a matter of survival—but Joshua didn’t need to know that.
“We hugged a couple of hours ago,” he reminds him.
“So long ago!” Joshua wails dramatically.
Seungkwan thinks that one day, he’s going to roll his eyes so hard they’ll never go back to normal.
